Duchess is a dedicated and graceful dancer with a mysterious and dark past. As we all know, her destiny is messed up. Who doesn't hate a predestined future of getting cursed to be a swan forever while your true love is out there, serenading your evil twin? Sounds like perfect misery.
Here's where Sparrow comes in. He's not perfect or romantic, and indeed not a prince. But I believe he's the only one who can fix Duchess and save her from the judgmental world she's stuck in. Sure, he's her opposite, with different goals and aims of becoming a rich rockstar.
Also, Duchess could change Sparrow for the better. I imagine them together, pursuing their passions together and pulling creatively evil pranks on others, and laughing off wickedly. When you think of it, it ACTUALLY is quite romantic...
Moreover, I feel their chemistry is something very tantalizing. They understand each other by annoying each other, and eventually I can definitely see them getting together so well. Classic enemies to lovers.
