As we landed in the designated area, the jet touched down smoothly on the vast open ground. When we stepped out, my eyes immediately focused on the imposing structure before us — the Avengers Facility.
Towering above us, it was a marvel of modern architecture, sleek and digitally advanced, exuding an aura of strength and innovation. The building, with its sharp lines and glass panels, looked like the ultimate headquarters for superheroes — everything you'd expect and more.
Uncle Tony draped his arm over my shoulder casually, surveying the scene with a hint of pride. "What do you think?" he asked.
I nodded, smirking, "This place is huge. Way too big for the handful of people who'll actually live here. Kinda like how you and Ms. Potts had that whole Stark Tower to yourselves."
He chuckled, the glint of amusement in his eyes. "Yeah, well, gotta have room to grow. Come on, let's go." With that, we began making our way toward the entrance.
As we walked inside, the first thing that struck me was how futuristic the interior looked. The facility was brimming with technology — smart interfaces, holographic displays, and cutting-edge security systems. We passed by doctors and researchers, some of them deep in discussion, while others worked on what looked like complex experiments. Among them, I noticed Dr. Selvig engaged with a few SHIELD officials. The scene felt like a blend of a tech corporation, a government agency, and a secret superhero HQ, all rolled into one.
I gave Uncle Tony a questioning look, wondering if he was going to fill me in. He just shrugged off my curiosity with a casual, "They're here to help us out."
"Nice," I replied, raising an eyebrow, "So, are you planning on acquiring all of SHIELD's shares too?"
He smirked, that unmistakable air of arrogance seeping through. "Kid, I bought the whole market."
We both burst out laughing as the elevator doors slid open in front of us.
As we stepped out of the elevator, the familiar sight of Uncle Clint came into view. He was deep in conversation on his phone, pacing back and forth with that usual intensity. Uncle Tony turned to me with a casual nod, "Go ahead, take a tour of your floor. I gotta check in with Pepper," and with that, he vanished down the hallway.
Uncle Clint caught sight of me as soon as he hung up his phone. Without missing a beat, he rushed over and pulled me into a tight hug. I chuckled, returning the embrace before he finally stepped back, his eyes scanning me up and down as if he were checking for any hidden injuries.
"Are you all fine?" he asked, his concern apparent.
I shrugged, trying to play it cool. "Absolutely."
He shook his head in disbelief, clearly not convinced. "I was so worried, kid. We all were. Steve told me about the hole—" He stopped mid-sentence, visibly frustrated as he let out a sigh. "Oh god, you're so reckless."
I couldn't help but smirk a little. "It was worth it," I muttered under my breath.
Clint's eyebrows furrowed as he gave me a confused look. "What?"
I quickly shook my head, brushing it off. "Nothing."
He dropped the subject but nodded, motioning for us to head up the stairs to the next level. As we walked, he pointed out a row of apartments. "This floor is yours, Sam's, and mine." He then pointed to the floor above. "That one up there is for your dear mom, dad, and the new kid, Wanda."
The mention of Wanda made my stomach drop. My eyes widened in sudden realization. "Uncle, I'm in big, big trouble."
He raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
