katsuki sat in his room, ignoring the now cold plate of food his mother placed for him.

he scrolled through his phone, looking at all of the old pictures and messages he had with izuku.

yeah he was angry at deku, i mean. how could be not be?

but he missed him.
and he missed his green bracelet.

katsuki stood up, tilting to the side as he walked. izuku wanted to talk to him right?

then lets talk.

izuku lay on his floor, staring up at the ceiling almost falling asleep. that was until he heard an aggressive knock on his door.

he wasn't expecting any visitors?

reluctantly izuku stood up, the knocking getting progressively louder

"okay okay!! im getting it."
izuku huffed, annoyingly opening the door

"yeah? what is it-"
izuku looked up from the ground, face to face with none other then katsuki.

"kacchan?"
his annoyed mood almost instantly changed to relief, maybe even slight happiness.

katsuki said nothing, he just shoved through izuku, making himself comfortable on the couch. izuku sat next to him, both of them awkwardly sitting for a while until katsuki spoke up.

"izuku.. you wanted to talk right? spit it out already."

izuku straightened up. clearing his throat, his eyes nervously looking towards katsuki.

"oh.. right. uhm.. im sorry, for starters."
that earned a scoff out of katsuki.

"sorry huh? yeah, i bet you are sorry. you should be jerk.."
katsuki leaned back, not looking in izuku's direction.

"i know.. i just- i didn't want to hurt you.. you don't deserve someone like me kacchan. im so, average."

izuku turned away, both of them now facing the wall.

"tch, don't be an idiot. you really ditched me because of some self doubt? you're dumber then i thought."
katsuki scowled, his tone less angry and more annoyed at the fact izuku ditched his whole friendship over something so stupid. even if it wasn't the whole truth.

"i know.. im sorr-"
izuku shut his mouth, noticing the once disappeared green bracelet, now freshly hanging from his wrist.

"i thought you threw it away.."
izuku whispers just loud enough for katsuki to hear.

"..."
"i went through the trash to find it.."
"i obviously cleaned it though, im not that gross deku."
katsuki snorted, making izuku laugh too.

even though they weren't necessarily friends again, they weren't fighting anymore.

"kacchan.. can we start again? forgetting what happened up until i left. just pretend this is our first time meeting!"

izuku smiled making katsuki roll his eyes.

"that is the dumbest shit you've ever said."
he whispered against his breath, izuku shuffling aswell.

"look- here.. im izuku midoriya!, but you can call me deku. nice too meet you!"

izuku held out his hand, obviously waiting for katsuki to introduce himself.

"fuck- i can't believe im doing this."
katsuki stood up from the couch, shaking izuku's hand and flushing an embarrassed red.

"im.. bakugou katsuki, and you can call me great explosion murder god dynamight!"
he pulled away, feeling proud of himself.

"kacchan don't be like that!"
izuku giggled, the gloomy atmosphere between the two clearing.

"kacchan? whos that? didn't you hear me say my name, nerd!"

they both sit together at izuku's home, hanging out for a while until the sun sets.

"shit, i should probably head home."
katsuki checks his phone, standing up and opening izuku's door.

"huh? kacchan its pouring down outside.. you sure you wanna leave right now?"
izuku hands katsuki a jacket, his offer being declined.

"im fine nerd.. i don't need your jacket."
izuku furrows his eyebrows, insistent that katsuki doesn't leave and get wet.

"here take this."
izuku hands katsuki an umbrella, their hands touching for a split second.

"finally handing me something useful hah? thanks i guess.."
they stand together under the umbrella for a few seconds more.

the rain had never felt louder.
they were close.
very, close.

izuku felt katsuki's hand hold against his, izuku swallowing the lump formed in his stomach.

they were too close, but izuku couldn't pull away this time.

he wouldn't bring himself to pull away.

they were so close that izuku could feel their foreheads touching, katsuki's warm breath against izuku's cold skin.

and soon enough, izuku felt katsuki's lips against his own.

izuku instantly melted towards his touch.
it was surreal. it wasn't anything like izuku had imagined.
not like he had imagined kissing katsuki a million times or anything.

but still, it was more then he ever could've comprehended.

he was going to move, tell katsuki stop, or push him away.

but he didn't want to.

it felt like ages until katsuki pulled away, leaving izuku dazed and confused standing at his doorway.

not a single word was exchanged between the two, katsuki took a hold of the umbrella and turned around, not facing izuku.

and then he walked away.

"kac...chan.."
izuku murmured out inaudible, before shutting his door, still not completely sure what happened.

but when the reality had set in, izuku's face lit red, he jumped on his couch, screaming into his pillow and kicking his feet like a little girl.

he just kissed katsuki.
izuku midoriya, the boy who was always known as the "book worm" or the "nerd"

had just kissed,

THE katsuki bakugou, the boy who was described as "athletic", "strong" or anything other then a loser.

izuku sat up, the actual realisation that he kissed a boy.

he kissed not only his bestfriend, but a boy.
izuku never thought too much on his sexuality. he was comfortable being himself.

but the thought of him kissing a boy and liking it, made him wonder.

was he really inlove with a boy?
