I roll over and grab my phone, seeing that Mark has sent me a few texts overnight. I smile, feeling a little giddy as I read through them.

"Good morning, beautiful," he says. "Can't wait to see you in class."

I blush, feeling a little shy but also excited. "Good morning, handsome," I reply. "Can't wait to see you too."

Mark and I continue texting back and forth, making plans for our next date. I can feel the excitement building up inside me, and I know that this is just the beginning of something special.

As I walk to my class, I can't help but think about Mark and our last date. I'm still on cloud nine, and I can't wait to see him again.

But as I enter the classroom, I see Mark sitting in the front row, looking like a total stud. I try to play it cool, but I can feel my heart racing as I take my seat.

Throughout the class, I can't help but sneak glances at Mark, who's totally focused on the lecture. I'm impressed by his dedication to his studies.

After class, Mark turns around and catches my eye. He gives me a sly smile, and I can feel my face heating up.

"Hey, Tom," he says, sauntering over to me. "What's up?"

I try to play it cool, but I can feel my heart racing. "Not much, Mark. Just trying to stay awake in this class."

Mark chuckles and leans in close. "I know the feeling. But hey, want to grab lunch together? I've got a break in my practice schedule."

I nod, feeling a little giddy. "Yeah, that sounds great."

Mark grins and takes my arm, leading me out of the classroom. As we walk across campus, I can feel the eyes of everyone on us. I'm dating a star athlete, and it's a pretty big deal.

We grab lunch at the cafeteria, and Mark tells me all about his latest game. I'm impressed by his passion and dedication to his sport.

As we finish up and prepare to part ways, Mark leans in close. "Hey, Tom? Can I ask you something?"

I nod, feeling a little curious. "What is it?"

Mark looks around nervously before leaning in even closer. "Do you want to go to a Descendents gig?

I nod fast, feeling extremely excited. "Yeah, that sounds like a blast."

Mark grins and takes my hand, giving it a squeeze. "Awesome. meet me at the hydro venue at 7pm"

As the sun starts to set, I make my way to the venue, my heart racing with anticipation. I spot Mark outside, looking cool and casual in his band T-shirt and jeans.

"Hey, dude!" Mark says, giving me a high-five. "Ready to rock?"

I nod, grinning from ear to ear. "Born ready, bro."

We make our way inside, the energy in the room electric. The opening act is already playing, but we're here for the Descendents.

As we wait for the main event, Mark and I chat about music, life, and everything in between. It's easy, natural, and I feel like I've known him my whole life.

Finally, the Descendents take the stage, and the room erupts into chaos. Milo's voice is raw, the band's energy infectious.

Mark and I are lost in the music, singing along to every song. We're jumping, we're dancing, we're living in the moment.

As the night wears on, I feel closer to Mark than ever before. We're bonding over our shared love of punk rock, and it's bringing us together in a way that nothing else can.

As the show comes to a close, Mark turns to me, his eyes shining with excitement. "That was amazing, right?" he says, his voice barely above a whisper.

I nod, still buzzing from the music. "Totally amazing."

Mark smiles, his face inches from mine. "I'm so glad you came with me tonight, Tom."

I feel my heart skip a beat as I look into his eyes. "I'm glad I came too, Mark."

The air between us is electric, and for a moment, I think Mark might kiss me. But instead, he just grins and gives me a hug.

"Thanks for being an awesome date, Tom," he says, his voice muffled against my ear.

I hug him back, feeling happy and content. "No problem, Mark. Let's do it again soon."

As we pull away, I know that this is just the beginning of something special.

**After What Feels Like Forever but is only a short amount of time**

As we stroll through campus, holding hands and laughing together, I feel like I'm walking on cloud nine. People are starting to notice us, and I don't care - I'm too happy to worry about what others think.

Mark turns to me with a mischievous grin. "Hey, Tom, want to come over to my place tonight and watch some movies?"

I nod eagerly, feeling a thrill run through my veins. "Yeah, that sounds awesome."

We make our way to Mark's apartment, where we spend the evening cuddled up on the couch, watching classic horror movies.

As the night wears on, we start to get a little cozy, our legs intertwined as we chat and laugh together. I feel like I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.

Mark turns to me with a nervous smile. "Hey, Tom... I was wondering if you'd like to be my boyfriend?"

I feel my heart skip a beat as I look into his eyes, trying to process the question. It's exactly what I've been wanting to hear.

I nod, feeling a huge grin spread across my face. "I'd love to!"

Mark's face lights up with excitement as he pulls me into a tight hug. "Really? You'll be my boyfriend?"

I nod, feeling happy and relieved. "Yeah, really"

Mark kisses me softly on the cheek, sending shivers down my spine. "Tom. I'm so happy."

I smile, feeling like I'm on cloud nine. "Me too, Mark. Me too."
