"So, you have tinder."
"I'll delete it."
"No, you don't have to just for my sake."
"It's an very old account, honestly I'd forgotten I had it." Mike paused to look at Skai for a few moments. "Is it possible that you're a little jealous?" He stepped a little closer to her and lifted her chin up. "Because there's no reason."
"I'm not jealous", Skai replied airily. "Well, good", Mike said. "You're the only one for me." Skai smiled. "Yeah?" Mike kissed her. "Yeah." He wrapped his arms around her waist. "I would like to hold you like this forever", he said. "Is that okay?" Skai kissed him. "Very much." He traced the butterfly on her waist, only visible because her overalls were unbuttoned. "Probably shouldn't touch you this way", he said a little sheepishly. "Let me decide how you should touch me", she quipped. "You're supposed to touch me in a way that makes my skin tingle and to discover my tattoos. Blimey, you're lucky I don't have one on my arse." Mike laughed.
"And we're supposed to kiss a lot and wait for the next kiss with loads of butterflies in our stomachs. And I'm happy to wait for you but I can be with you in secret too."
"You're my favourite secret", he admitted. "And you deserve to be so much more."
"I love being your secret. As long as I'm something to you."
"You're everything to me."Mike removes Skai’s jacket before taking off his own. “I kinda have a surprise for you”, he says and Skai looks at him with those lovely, dark blue eyes curious. “No way.” She breaks into a big smile and crashes into Mike so hard that the both of them end up lying on the floor and kissing. When they finally break apart Skai traces a finger carefully over the plastic wrapped around Mike’s arm. “You got my drawings tattooed.” There’s a little disbelief in Skai’s voice. “You’re a brilliant artist, Sunshine”, Mike says softly. “And obviously, the tattoo artist who tattooed me. She liked the story behind the tattoo. I think she made an instagram post with it in the caption.”
“I love you.” Skai kisses him again. “So much.”
“I love you too.” He traces constellations her freckles form. More than you’ll ever know. “I’m glad we ended up here”, she says. “On the floor?” he asks with a smirk and she rolls her eyes. “So much in love that I would draw on you and you would get the drawings tattooed. I told you you were art, Starboy.”
“I’m glad too.” Mike peppers her with kisses, trying to kiss as many of her freckles as he can. “So, I’m the art and you’re the artist?”
Skai smiles. “Sounds grande. Perfect in fact.” Mike finds the small butterfly on her hip and traces the outlines gently. It brings him comfort every time he sees it and touches it. He raises his eyes again to lock into hers. “I think you might be art too”, he says. “How can I be both?” she asks. “I dunno, you tell me.” He smirks and she kisses him again.
