The ride towards the place that I wanted to take Haliya was comfortable. I opened the sunroof so we could save gas for the aircon. Haliya was just taking photos around. She was enjoying the vibe in the car. The playlist of a bunch of OPM roadtrip blaring through the speakers.

I wanted to take her to Oriental, it's an hour drive away from Pakan.

Haliya must be so confused why we are in a different city. But she didn't ask or say anything about it. Which I'm glad, because I don't want to answer with "basta."

We drove past the city, and drove on a provincial road.

When we reached the place, I was glad that nobody's around. Most times, there are students from Oriental that come here to have a break from their college life. It's great timing because there are no locals or tourists around.

Just us.

"We're here." I said and turned off the engine. Then, I closed the sunroof. Haliya looked around, looking confused as to why we are here in a jungle trek wannabe place.

"We're in the middle of nowhere." She's right though.

She must be thinking that I'm gonna murder her here or something.

"We're gonna walk for a few minutes, then you'll see."

Naguguluhan man ay bumaba na rin siya. I had to take the things I had Darwin prepared for.

"What's with the case?" Tukoy nito sa dala dala kong ice box. It was big but good thing I'm an athlete it wasn't that heavy to carry. May dala dala din akong dalawang camping chair, it's in a bag so it wasn't hard for me.

"Food and drinks."

And an instrument.

"Do you need help?"

"Could you please bring the camera? You can use it to take pictures." Sabi ko sa kanya. Then she took it from the glove compartment. I locked the Jeep afterwards, and we started to walk towards the place.

A couple of minutes later we reached the place, and Haliya was in awe.

"Really?! You brought me to this falls?" Hindi siya makapaniwala. I've seen tons of falls before, but it didn't make me feel in awe because this one's not as tall as the Pyalitan falls in Gusan. All in all, it's nature so it's still amazing.

"Well, I should've brought you to Gusan if you wanted to see one."

"Meron don?!"

Natawa ako.

"Seriously? Where have you been?"

Hindi siya umimik at nagsimula lang na kumuha ng mga litrato ng paligid, ng talon, pati na rin ako.

Umakyat kami kasi may ginawa namang concrete stairs ang local government dito. The sound of the water falling is loud, that's why if we're gonna talk, we have to speak louder.

We rested on the clearing nearby the falls, mababasa rin kami dito dahil sa talsik ng tubig. I set up all the camping chairs, and made Haliya sit on it.

Kumuha ako ng tubig mula sa ice box and opened it for her so she could drink from the bottle.

"Thank you." Sabi nito at uminom na rin.

I also took one and sat on the chair next to hers.

"Do you like it?" Tukoy ko sa lugar.

"Yes, I do. Thank you."
