When morning came Elara's habits from her time in boot camp woke her up at 6:52 AM. She didn't know what time to expect the kids to wake up but she presumed it wouldn't be this early as she got up going downstairs after checking to make sure all was well with the five of the kids.

Elara was on her phone when she heard the first set of feet moving she couldn't tell who it was but she heard a bunch of doors open she presumed whoever it was was checking to see if their other siblings were up. After thirty minutes Elara decided to check again.

She checked Liv's room first. Empty, she hoped Carson or Hunter had her. She walked into Tyson and Weekly's shared room. Not seeing the younger twins in there she moved onto the older twins' room she heard talking as she stood outside the door.

"I like it here, It's. Different"

"Mother said Ella wasn't nice."

"Mother also lied about everything Tyson."

Elara decided to knock before opening the door smiling lightly they were all squeezed on one of the beds.  "Hey, how'd you guys sleep?" Getting a mixture of goods she smiled lightly. "You don't have to go but downstairs I can make you breakfast." Wesley shot up running to her side she chuckled playing with his hair lightly it was the shortest out of all his brothers. Olivia was giving her a look. "You coming?" She reached her hand to Liv who giggled and turned her head to Hunter burying it in his chest Elara chuckled as Hunter hugged her.

"You and Carson are good brothers." She said getting the biggest smiles she had seen yet from the two older boys as Wesley messed around with her hand looking at her rings.

"I like these."

Elara's eyes wandered to her promise ring she smiled lightly.

Eventually, she got all the boys down the stairs including Olivia who was playing peek-a-boo with Elara by hiding in Hunter's chest. She was just making toaster waffles, probably not the healthiest thing but she didn't care they'd be fine they needed more weight from Lila not feeding them the right amounts.

She gave each boy theirs in cut-up strips while she cut up Olivia's into smaller bites. Elara didn't eat much breakfast she ate earlier but she filled up her Stanley cup. "You not gonna eat?" Wesley spoke with a mouthful of food while Carson hit his shoulder.

"That's gross, close your mouth." Carson hit his shoulder.

Wesley said a muffled "Sorry" Elara smiled lightly as she gave the two older boys their glass of water and the younger three milk.

"I was up earlier and ate then."

"Who's that" Elara heard Tyson her eyes wandered back to the frames hanging on the wall with pictures of people.

"My friends and my other brothers." she smiled at the boy getting one picture off the wall everyone seemed to come closer beside to see. She motioned to certain people as she talked. "That's my adopted mom Adria these are her sons Faron and Ethan"

"Who that?"

Elara's eyes went to Rex who was behind her in the picture.

"That Rex I met him in boot camp." she smiled deciding on where to go next but Hunter intervened.

"I thought you only were a police officer?"

"When I graduated high school I went into that and did online courses to be in law enforcement so yeah I've done my boot camp training and all that good stuff with my police training." She glanced at the boy's interest. "Why's that got you hooked bud?"

Hunter smiled. "I wanna do that." She smiled at the boy's interest. "I wanna be a sergeant.

"Do you now? That's what Rex wants to do." she hung the picture up turning around. She smiled lightly, noticing Carson fighting off Olivia who was trying to touch him with sticky syrup hands.
