Backstage, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. Rhea, Jey, Damien, and Y/N were gathered in a corner, unwinding after a hectic day. Damien, ever the relaxed presence, was sprawled on a nearby couch while Rhea and Jey were seated on the floor, chatting and laughing.
Y/N, however, was off to the side, scrolling through her phone with a clouded expression. Damien glanced over, sensing the tension emanating from her.
"Hey, Y/N," Damien called out, trying to catch her attention. "Got a quick question for you."
Y/N looked up, her mood visibly sour. "What is it, Damien?"
Damien raised an eyebrow, noting the irritation in her tone. "Damn, girl, who pissed in your Cheerios?"
Jey burst out laughing, his deep chuckle echoing in the backstage area. Rhea smirked, shaking her head at the playful banter.
Y/N shot Damien a sharp look, clearly unimpressed. "I'm just tired, okay? Not everyone finds everything funny."
Damien chuckled and shook his head, his grin never fading. "I don't know where this attitude is coming from, but watch it. We're all in this together."
Y/N sighed, her irritation melting into a reluctant smile. "Fine, fine. Sorry for snapping. It's been a long day."
Damien patted the spot next to him on the couch, his expression softening. "Come on, sit down. We'll make it a little less 'long day' and a little more 'good company.'"
Y/N hesitated for a moment but eventually joined Damien on the couch, settling in with a weary smile. Rhea and Jey continued their lighthearted conversation, their laughter filling the space.
As the group relaxed and the mood shifted, Damien glanced over at Y/N. "You know, if you ever need to vent, we're here for that too. Sometimes, you just gotta let it out."
Y/N nodded, appreciating the gesture. "Thanks, Damien. I'll try to be less of a grump."
Damien laughed, nudging her playfully. "No promises, but I'm sure we can handle it. Just remember, we're a team."
The backstage area, once filled with tension, now resonated with a more relaxed atmosphere. The camaraderie among the group was evident, and despite the challenges they faced, moments like these reminded them of the strength they drew from each other.
As the evening continued, laughter and easy conversation replaced the earlier tension. The backstage banter was a reminder that, even in the midst of demanding days, the support of friends and teammates made all the difference.
