The alley was thick with tension, shadows playing across the cracked pavement as Myul's crew stood poised for battle. Jisoo's heart pounded in her chest, her pulse quickening with every breath. The thrill of the fight was beginning to bubble up inside her, the same primal rush she always felt before a good brawl. She could feel the adrenaline surge through her veins as her body instinctively prepared for combat.

Next to her, Hyeonwoo cracked his knuckles, his eyes locked on the incoming opponents. He took a step forward, seamlessly transitioning between MMA, Muay Thai, and Boxing, his movements a deadly dance of violence. Jisoo glanced at him briefly before focusing on her task—she had her eyes on Mujuk.

Ken fell quickly to Hyeonwoo's strikes. It was over in mere moments. The notification flashed in Jisoo's mind, but she was already moving—spinning, flipping, her Capoeira-like kicks whirling in a flurry of motion. Mujuk was no match for her precision. His defence shattered after her first few strikes, and she sent him sprawling with a well-placed kick to his chest.

<Jisoo Hyun's potential is getting excited!>

As Mujuk fell, she turned her focus on Bong. His hulking frame stood tall, his guard solid. Every blow she threw seemed to bounce off him, his defences impenetrable. Jisoo could feel her excitement falter—just slightly. Frustration began to creep in, but she pushed it aside. She wasn't done. Not by a long shot.

Suddenly, a memory hit her—her older brother, Jae Hyun. His voice echoed in her mind, firm yet encouraging.

A few years ago...

Jae Hyun's face was serious, his usual lighthearted demeanour absent as they sparred in the garage.

Jae: "You've got something in you, Jisoo. Something you haven't tapped into yet. It's there, waiting for you. When it wakes up, no one will stand a chance."

Jisoo: "Are you trying to pull my finger?"

Jae: "No! I swear!"

Jisoo looked at Jae in suspicion.

Jae chuckled and patted Jisoo's head.

Jae: "I swear on my nickname. The Hidden Dragon."

<Jisoo's potential is skyrocketing!>

That was it. That's what she needed to unlock. She gritted her teeth, drawing a deep breath as she felt her body respond. The world around her sharpened, colours became more vivid and sounds more distinct. Her muscles hummed with newfound energy.

She moved faster now, her strikes a blur. Bong swung his massive fists at her, but she flowed around them effortlessly. Time seemed to slow for a moment, and Jisoo seized the opportunity. With a spin, she delivered a powerful kick to Bong's jaw, the impact sending him staggering. His eyes were wide with disbelief. He hadn't even seen her move.

<Congratulations!>

<Jisoo has awakened!>

<Jisoo's stamina is being restored!>

The surge of power was overwhelming—invigorating. Jisoo felt stronger, faster, as if the world itself couldn't keep up with her anymore. This was what her brother had been talking about. She had awakened, and nothing could stop her now.

But before she could finish off Bong, Myul stepped in. His eyes were wild with rage, his fists flying toward her. She dodged effortlessly, her body reacting on instinct. With a smooth pivot, she launched herself into the air and delivered a devastating spinning kick to Myul's ribs. He grunted in pain but remained standing, fury burning in his gaze.

<Jisoo's awakening card is revealed!>

<The Path (1/3)>

<The user gains the ability to launch lightning-quick attacks, almost as if there are two of them!>

 <Jisoo usedThe Path>

Jisoo felt her body move with a speed that even she struggled to comprehend. It was as though there were two of her, attacking Myul from every angle. She struck faster than he could react, her fists and feet landing blow after blow, overwhelming him. Myul's defences crumbled under her relentless assault, his body recoiling with every hit.

But just as she was about to finish him off, Myul smirked, pulling a bean from his pocket.

<Silver Card: Healing Bean>

In an instant, Myul's wounds healed. His body regenerated as if the fight had never happened. He stood tall, cracking his knuckles with a wicked grin.

Myul: "You're going to regret that."

Jisoo's excitement didn't waver. If anything, the challenge only fueled her more. The fight wasn't over, and she had no intention of backing down.

Meanwhile, Hyeonwoo had finished off the rest of the fodder, notifications flashing in his mind as he claimed his rewards.

With his new technique in hand, Hyeonwoo stepped forward to stand beside Jisoo, his body relaxed yet ready for battle.

Hyeonwoo: "Just great... Looks like we've got a real fight on our hands."

Jisoo grinned, adrenaline still pumping through her veins. Her awakened potential had brought her to this point, and the thrill of combat was intoxicating. Every strike, every dodge, every moment of the fight-filled her with a rush she hadn't known was possible. The raw power coursing through her was like nothing she had ever felt.

Myul cracked his neck, stepping forward, fully restored and ready for round two. But Jisoo's smirk didn't fade. The fight had just begun, and she was more than ready to finish it.

The streetlights flickered above as Jisoo shifted into her fighting stance, eyes gleaming with determination. With Hyeonwoo at her side and the thrill of battle coursing through her veins, there was nothing in this world that could stop her now.
