The tension between the two was palpable, though both wore smiles that belied the weight of their words. They were playing a game of deception, one where each knew more than they were letting on, and Myul—watching through JJJ-in's eyes—knew he had stumbled upon something far bigger than he had anticipated.

JJJ-in exhaled, his grin widening gleefully as if savouring a long-awaited revelation. His thick black glasses reflected the dim light of the room, concealing the gleam of satisfaction in his eyes. He stood tall with his usual nerdy demeanour, the contrast between his outward appearance and his mischievous tone almost comical.

JJJ-in: "I found him~"

Jamjaejeong-in: 173 cm, 74 kg

The singsong nature of his voice was laced with an almost dangerous excitement like a predator having cornered its prey. He leaned forward slightly, his hands still resting on Samgawi's shoulders, digging in with exaggerated enthusiasm, the playful massage not entirely without malice.

Across from him, Samgawi's eyes shot wide open in disbelief. His usually calm expression cracked for a moment as the name registered. The room seemed to tighten with tension as Samgawi processed the news, his green eyes flickering with a sudden sharpness.

Samgawi: "You did?"

Samgawi Gonchung: 165 cm, 60 kg

[??? / ??? / A (Awakened) / S / ???]

There was a mixture of disbelief and expectation in his voice. Samgawi wasn't just curious—he was hungry for confirmation, and JJJ-in knew it. With a coy smile, JJJ-in nodded, his fingers pressing into Samgawi's shoulders with deliberate pressure, as if taunting him with the information he had. He loved playing the game and loved keeping Samgawi on edge.

JJJ-in: "Yeah! That Jin Na kid!"

He practically purred the words, clearly enjoying the moment. His voice held a playful edge, but underneath was the undeniable sense that he relished the control this piece of information gave him. JJJ-in, despite his nerdy, sleeper-build appearance, was a master of this—manipulating people with just a few words, keeping everyone guessing.

Meanwhile, miles away, Myul was watching through the camera card, the holographic screen hovering in front of him like a window into their world. His eyes widened, his heart skipping a beat as JJJ-in's words hit him like a brick.

Myul, still watching from the camera card, nearly jumped out of his seat, his casual smirk vanishing into thin air. He leaned closer to the holographic screen, eyes darting between the two figures in the room. Jin Na? His mind raced.

Myul: "Jin Na?! Again?!"

The name left his lips in an incredulous tone, louder than he intended. It wasn't the first time Jin Na had been at the centre of things, and now, here he was, yet again being pulled into the chaos. Myul's hands hovered above the screen as if he could somehow reach through and throttle the situation into submission. His frustration boiled over as he slumped back, trying to piece it together.

Chyul, the ever-sarcastic voice in his head, chimed in with his usual snide commentary, echoing in the back of Myul's mind.

Chyul: "That guy's a real gangster..."
