April 19, 2021 we finally finished our project, I was disappointed, not on our output but on how our meeting up session in the garden has ended but nonetheless I'm still happy that we got to finish our work "Great job you two" the professor said while checking our work and we smiled at each other, I never got tired seeing him smile, with his eyes disappearing as he smile I thought that that was all I needed to survive here. "Job well done Eiji" he said while tapping my back "Job well done too Carl" I said while smiling at him, I wanted hug him as a thank you gesture for doing this with me but I didn't have the courage yet so I just tapped his back too .
April 23, 2021 I have now decided to still continue going to the school garden to pass time and watch the sunset, as I walk to the garden, I saw a familiar figure, "Eiji!" Carl said waving his hand "Carl?" I whispered to myself and ran towards him, my safe place. We spent our time there studying but I never paid much attention to my school work, I paid more attention to his eyes, grateful that I get to see it again getting hit by the sun light and making them vibrant, I always thought that Hazel eyes were boring but not this one, his was majestic.
May 11, 2021 we are still going to the school garden every afternoon to watch the sunset together "why do you like the sunset so much?" Carl says as he lay his head next to the tree that we are sitting in "well in Japan it is always cold so I appreciate the warmth the sun gives out" I said while looking at him "in that case I will watch all the sunset with you until you go back to Japan" he says looking at me "now that we are in this topic, when are you going back to Japan?" He says fidgeting with his fingers "I don't exactly know but I still have a long way to go" I said looking at the horizon Infront of us .
