———Aoi's POV———

I returned, startling the living shit out of Inosuke and Tanjiro, and smirked.

"Ready to start learning how to walk again?" I asked in almost a teasing tone.

Inosuke grinned, "Hah! I'm stronger then you Gonpachiro Kamaboko!" Tanjiro glared at both of us. Of course we are his friends, but we can be so annoying at times..

"I could probably still beat you with my weak ass body," Tanjiro replied, making Inosuke pissed off and started to prove him wrong by saying he will do 1000 pushups. Tanjiro smirked, knowing exactly how to destract the boar headed boy, and grabbed the crutches from me.

"Now don't try and move too fast," I informed and watched him struggle while Inosuke muttered to himself as he did push ups. These two are idiots...

"I'll be fine Aoi," Tanjiro muttered and continued to struggle.

I rolled my eyes and huffed, "you're legs are too weak. Stop pushing yourself dumbass." Tanjiro refused to listen to me and continued walking.

Tanjiro yelled back, "well your legs are going to be weak once I'm finished with you!" Inosuke immediately stopped doing push ups and looked up with wide green eyes and my blue eyes widened as well. Tanjiro looked at us two confused before his eyes slowly widened and his mouth fell open.

"I DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE THAT!"-

———Nobody's POV———

Aoi crossed her arms and tapped her foot as Tanjiro sat up straight in his chair, a black and purple bruise on his eye. Not from the demon they slayed a week ago, from the demon(Aoi) this morning.

"God Tanjiro. I didn't know you were so stupid you can't even heal properly," she said with anger.

After Tanjiro tried to convince Aoi he didn't mean his word the way she thought, (she punched him anyways) she continued to help him with walking, which he failed miserably at.

Tanjiro huffed and leaned back, "it's not my fault that stupid demon tried to kill Inosuke. Then I wouldn't have thrown myself to save this idiot." Inosuke was still working on his 1000 push-ups, not paying attention.

"I don't care why you did it. You still suck at healing. Now get out of here and do something more productive," Aoi instructed and handed him the crutches. He didn't argue and took them to try and walk. Tanjiro grunted, hating how weak he was. Damn demon just had to try and hurt Inosuke... Tanjiro continued to struggle to the door when Inosuke stopped doing his push ups and walked up behind him.

"where are you going now?" He asked as he shoved his hands inside his pockets.

Tanjiro continued to walk, with failure, and sighed. "I guess I'm just heading outside for a bit," Tanjiro explained. Inosuke looked at him and saw the struggle and huffed... should he help him...? 'Tanjiro looks like he's struggling a lot... and normally I would laugh at that.. but the reason he is limping is because he protected me in out last fight and now I feel bad...' Inosuke sighed and reached over to him.

"Since you're so weak and stuff... I guess my kind awesome self will let you lean on me... I- if you want..." Inosuke muttered while looking away a tinge of pink in his cheeks. Tanjiro looked up at him and smiled lightly before leaning on him for support.

"Thanks Inosuke..." Tanjiro replied as they slowly made the way outside to the front porch. The front steps were a light color of wood that looked out to the front lawn that had a bunch of training equipment. Inosuke slowly helped him sit down, ignoring the blush on his feminine face.
