———Kanao's POV———

It's been a month since I asked Shinobu to leave with Nezuko. We are still at the butterfly mansion, helping Tanjiro recover. Tanjiro has been recovering fine and Inosuke has been helping him throughout the process. He was so happy when Aoi said he could walk without his crutches two week ago, but nobody was as happy as Inosuke.

Inosuko hasn't been training a lot without Tanjiro. He put all his time towards making the hurt boy happy while he was injured. I didn't see a time when the two were apart. For me and Nezuko, things have just been the same. We hang out all the time, train together, help Tanjiro, visit the meadow.

It's been amazing. And I can't help loving her even more... she's so perfect it hurts. Every time I'm with her I feel my heart race and when I look into her pink demon eyes, they capture me. Over this month I've accepted my feelings for her. I love her. And I.. I don't know how to tell her.

———Tanjiro's POV———

It took a while, but my body has finally healed. I laid in my hospital bed, Inosuke's beside mine, waking up from my sleep. I look at his adorable sleeping form and smiled as I sat up. I got out of bed, No struggled at all, and walked to his bedside.

"Inosuke?" I said with a smile. I flicked his forehead in an attempt to wake him. He grumbled and slowly opened those sea green eyes. 'How can he get any cuter?!'

"T-Tanjiro...?" He asks in a sleepy voice, which I find adorable. I laugh lightly and stood up again.

I spoke in a soft tone, a smile plastered on my face, "I get discharged from the mansion today... we can finally get some missions in." Inosuke being Inosuke, hoped out of bed and grabbed his boar mask and swards with a smile.

"I'm ready!"

"Not so fast. Let's go get Nezuko and Kanao" I said and walked out of the room, the slightly shorter boy following behind. I look around the hallway and followed the familiar path to Kanao's room, where Nezuko was still staying.

"Nezuko?" I ask, opening the door slightly, looking down at the two. I smirked as I saw arm around Nezuko, who was wide awake blushing. Kanao was still sound asleep.

"Coming Tanjiro..." she said, attempting to climb out of her grasp, but was unable to. Kanao stirred awake at all the commotion and looked up at the three.

"O-oh.. Tanjiro? Inosuke? What are you two doing in here?" She asked, rubbing her eyes and sat up, letting her arm lay loosely around Nezuko.

"I can finally get missions since I'm healed. We should get going today," I said to the two as I smiled. I wasn't upset at how close the two were. They deserved each other. Even if they are too stubborn to confess to one another. I chuckle at the thought.

———Nobody's POV———

Tanjiro and Inosuke walk off to go get ready to leave the mansion, leaving Kanao and Nezuko alone. Nezuko looked up at her and smiled.

"This will be our first mission together," the demon girl says with a smile.

"I'm excited..l but nervous to be leaving Shinobu," Kanao says as she climbed out of bed and grabbed her sward.

Nezuko smiled and got up as well saying, "spend some time with her before we go. And don't worry, we'll visit her a lot."

Kanao nodded and walked down stairs, seeing her sister and Mitsuri sitting at the table, talking.
