I somehow survived the almost five-hour flight from New York to California. A few days after we landed here Sebastian had an interview at his campus, since there's only one more term until the new school year (and me possibly going to college) I don't know how they'll let Sebastian enter but the results from the interview tells me otherwise.
"They said I could start the next academic year, since I already finished freshman year " He explains and takes a bite of his meatloaf
"Wow, honey! That's great" Mom smiles and looks at Sebastian with pure happiness in her eyes.
"Congratulations, Sebastian," Dad says a matching smile on his face as well, and seeing all their smiles made me want to smile too.
I really am happy for him, he deserves it. He always dreamed of getting into UCLA, his dream university and now he got in. Even though it's a year late and when his first letter got rejected, bro, was devastated. But that didn't stop him. Me on the other hand, right now my dream is to go to NYU.
"You seem in deep thought," Dad remarks after noticing me playing with the food on my plate. "Oh.. I was just thinking about how I'll be going to NYU in a few months" I don't know that for sure but oh well.
"Oh yeah!" Mom exclaims "NYU! You'll be going into college in just a few months too." She asks and smiles as if there's more meaning to it "Oh uhm-"
"You both are growing up so fast.." as Sebastian cuts her off with a groan "Mom.. stop, it's getting so annoying" He rolls his eyes.
"Okay, alright fine," She says and shakes her head "And how many times do I have to tell you to not use that tone with me?" She narrows her eyes at him.
"I- didn't even-" The rest of the conversation goes by as I chuckle to myself.

I am on my way to school, walking on the pavement. Which also reminded me I needed a driver's license. I close my eyes and turn my head towards the sky, I take a deep breath reminding myself to not lose it and that I can manage all this. Being in New York walking was much better, at least for me I could never bring myself to drive on those roads full of traffic.
That's when my chin hits a traffic pole I didn't even notice was there before probably because I was walking with my eyes closed. "Ah! Ow! God!" I place a palm on my chin to try and ease the pain as I duck my head. I suddenly hear giggling from the road and I turn to look who it was from.
Three girls sitting in a black SUV were in the back seat the windows rolled down two of them were blonde and one of them was a brunette. At the front of the car in the driver's seat was a blonde boy who seemed awfully familiar and another black-haired boy in the passenger seat.
