UTKARSHA'S POV

Walking through the paparazi and many celebrities me and Rutu entered a big hall where many people are present. My jaw dropped when I saw MS Dhoni there. He was there with OMG!! Sachin Tendulkar?? And that's when I started observing the whole hall from the entrance I saw Yuvraj Singh!! Suresh Raina!! Zaheer khan!! Rahul Dravid!! Sourav Ganguly!! Anil Kumble!! OMG!!! Never in my wildest dream I have ever imagined to breathe the same air as their.

My teenage self will really be happy and proud if she'll got to know that she is going to breathe the same air as MS Dhoni. Oh! How I love that person. I heard many rumours about his girlfriend back then her name was maybe something starting with S and later he got married to her I think.

Well! I was the biggest cricket and MS dhoni fan back then. But after 10th it was 2009 when I decided to completely unfollow Cricket. I want to run away from it as much as I can. It was very difficult in initial days since, I was someone who used to see every single matches of India. And CSK was my favourite franchise I just heard that they won 2010 ipl and after that I don't know about it also.

[It's a little weird to believe I know]

"Hey! You didn't tell me that we are coming to an event full of Cricketers?" I whispered to Rutu. Well! Yes! I agreed to came and don't ask me why.

"Where and with whom you thought a Cricketer will go for an event?" Rutu raised his eyebrow

I didn't said anything and we walked towards our seats. There he meet with many other people probably they are also cricketer but who knows?

"Guys! Meet Utkarsha! My friend!!" Rutu introduced me to them.

"Hii" I said softly.

They then went to their seats. All have their personal seat with a small round table. Me and Rutu are sitting in the middle of the people. MS Dhoni is sitting in front with his wife maybe I don't know her but she is pretty.

"You want to meet Mahi bhai?" Rutu asked probably finding me staring at Ms Dhoni with a big grin like an idiot. Rutu know him? What type of question is this ofcourse Rutu know MS Dhoni. But Ms Dhoni knows Rutu?

"Ms Dhoni knows you?" I asked and he give an 'are you serious' look.

"Ofcourse he knows me!! If you want to meet him then we can meet" Rutu said like this was not a big deal for him. But OMG!!!! I'm going to meet Mahendra Singh Dhoni!!

"Ya! Ya ofcourse why not!! Finally my 'chahe jisse dur se duniya wo mere kareeb hai' moment is going to be true" I said in an excited tone.

RUTU'S POV

Utkarsha tries to shows her like a tough lady but she has a soft and childish corner, and now I'm witnessing it. Didn't knew that she'll be this happy thinking about to meet Mahi bhai. Well! I was also her when I saw him for the first time but She's such a Child.

The event started and I received the 'Best batsmen of the year for scoring the highest run' [🤞🏻 Jai Mata di!! Sach ho jaaye] and I received it from Mahi Bhai he hugged me and said "great job!! I'm proud of you!! Keep growing!" I can spot Utkarsha from the stage she's so happy and clapping like a baby I know it was not for me, it was for Mahi bhai but still it make me happy.

After saying some words I get off from the stage and move to my seat.

"You are so lucky! MS Dhoni hugged you! And congratulations for receiving this award from MS Dhoni itself" Utkarsha said. I'm happy that atleast for Mahi bhai she's talking with me like this otherwise oh God! How rudely she talks to me.

The event end and now all are taking their dinner and I thought this was the right moment to take Utkarsha to meet Mahi bhai as he's talking with Sakshi bhabhi now and no one is around him.

"Utkarsha! Let's meet with Mahi bhai!" I said and her eyes widens with excitement and my heart fills with contentment after looking at her face like this.

"Let's go!!" She said like a child. We walked towards Mahi bhai.

"Mahi Bhai! Sakshi bhabhi!" I called them. They both turn towards us.

"Congratulations Rutu for receiving the award! I'm proud of you!" Sakshi Bhabhi said as we side hugged.

"Who is she? Introduce us with her as well" Mahi Bhai said and I can spot the nervousness and excitement on Utkarsha's face.

"Mahi Bhai Sakshi bhabhi she is Utkarsha a good friend of mine!" I said placing my hand on her shoulder. [Reminder: Say sorry for this] I noted in my mind.

UTKARSHA'S POV

MS Dhoni is infront of me. He asked about me and tell Rutu to introduce me to him. OMG!! OMG!! My dream is coming true he is going to take my name. Someone please record this moment, I might cry because of happiness my heart is filling with contentment.

"Oh! Hii Utkarsha!" I freezed in my place. He said my name and said hii to me? Someone please call the ambulance I may faint.

Rutu shook me a bit and I come out of my delusional world and smile at Ms Dhoni.

"Hii Sir" I managed to say.

I talked with him and told him about how I'm his biggest fan. I talked with Sakshi mam as well she's so sweet and pretty. They both are so humble and sweet. They're the example of 'Match made in heaven'. Soon, they left from the event.

Then we moved to a dinning table. Rutu told me that it is going to be a highly professional and important dinner for him. So, I mentally noted to be quiet there.

Some 3-4 middle aged personalities and another cricketer I think idk sit with us.

They started their conversation mostly talking about the team for upcoming India matches. One second! Rutu is the captain of Indian team or what? Or he is the vice-captain? What it is ignore it I thought and started devouring the soup.

"Ahh!!" Some drop of hot soup fell on my hand and all the people looked at me in concern.

But Rutu, he got up instantly without caring about the extremely important members and looked at me with concern feeling eyes, holding my healthy hand he pulled me with him, looking at the members he said "Excuse us, my girl has burn her hand and I need to treat her now" he turn towards the exist and dragged me with him.

He take me to the Medical Room and started applying ointment in my hand but my mind is still stuck in the word 'my girl'.

"You said that, the dinner is important for you toh tum usko chhodke yahan kyun aa Gaye? Woh toh important tha na?" I asked.

"Tumse jyaada important nahi!" He said.

I didn't say anything on that and after that we went to take the dinner.

Soon, we leave from that place and with a comfortable silence with Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar's 'kora kagaz' song we reached the Hotel where I'm leaving.

I get off from the Car and without saying anything I started walking towards the entrance but my mind and heart both don't know why wanted to see Rutu one last time for the day so, I turned and there he was still waiting for me to reach safely till the lift. I walked towards him and he get off from the Car.

"What happened Utkarsha? You're alright?" Rutu asked with concern full eyes. Oh! how caring he is about me.

"Nothing! Just wanted to thanks you for inviting me to such a lovely event where atlast I fulfilled my dream to meet MS dhoni". I can't thanks him less for it.

"There is no need of Thanks you know!" Rutu said.

"But still! Thanks" I again said. "Achaa! Goodnight!" and I walked towards the entrance.

To see if Rutu is still standing there I turn and there he is still standing. "Hey Rutu! Let's meet tomorrow! In morning!" I said and finally entered in lift.
