Day 1 (Pt.2)

As they were having fun at their pool party, Eunchae suggested a game. She volunteered to host a race where participants would be paired up. One person would ride on their partner's back while the other swam to reach Eunchae's hand at the end of the pool. Everyone was already in the pool. Eunchae instructed them to play rock-paper-scissors to determine their partners for the game. Yunjin and Sakura ended up teaming up, while Kazuha and Chaewon were paired together as the other team.

'Kkura unnie is on my team; we'll definitely win this game. This is going to be so easy,' Yunjin teased the other team.

Chaewon replied, 'I admit Kkura unnie is really good at games, but I think it's her unlucky day because of you,' pointing a finger at Yunjin.

Sakura and Kazuha just laughed at their childish banter. Sakura climbed onto Yunjin's back, while Chaewon did the same with Kazuha. But before the game started, Chaewon glanced at Sakura and Yunjin and felt a strange, unsettling feeling she couldn't quite explain.

Eunchae shouted, "Go!" and the race began.

Yunjin struggled to swim because Chaewon kept splashing water into her eyes, making it hard for her to see. Sakura tried to shield Yunjin so she could swim faster. Yunjin and Kkura started off slowly, while Kazuha was laughing because of how tightly Chaewon was holding onto her neck. The hilarious game ended when Kkura extended her arms to reach Eunchae's hand.

Eunchae announced the winner, "The winner of this game is HOTCOOLZ!" Yunjin and Sakura celebrated their victory with a hug.

"Now the losers will face their penalty," Eunchae said, glancing at the devastated Summerz.

The penalty was that the winners would shoot the losers with a water gun. Summerz climbed out of the pool and stood ready to receive their punishment. Hotcoolz, along with Eunchae, took aim and shot them aggressively, their dolphin screams echoing throughout the villa.

After the game, they decided to shower together and change into matching pajamas. Chaewon was the first to finish showering, followed by Yunjin. They were now alone in the living room. Since the game ended, Chaewon hadn't spared Yunjin a glance, her irritation evident. She couldn't quite understand why she felt so upset-whether it was because of the childish banter before the game or the way Yunjin and Kkura unnie had shown a lot of skinship earlier.'

'Chaewon unnie, do you want some ice cream?' Yunjin asked while scanning the refrigerator. She waited for Chaewon to respond, but her unnie was busy scrolling on her phone.

'Unnieeee,' Yunjin called out again.

Chaewon heard Yunjin but chose to ignore her, wanting to clear her head and deal with the confusing emotions she was feeling. Yunjin was puzzled; it seemed impossible that Chaewon didn't hear her loud voice. She closed the refrigerator and approached Chaewon.

Chaewon, who was focused on her phone, felt a hand wrap around her and a head lean on her shoulder. She recognized who it was by the scent of figs and pistachios.

"Unnieee~ you seem so busy?" Yunjin pouted.

"Do you want some ice cream?" Yunjin asked again. Chaewon, who didn't want to talk with Yunjin, finally gave in. How could she resist her golden retriever persistence? Yunjin's hug was warm and sweet.

"What would you recommend? I want to try something new," chaewon asked, yunjin's smile growing as Chaewon answered.

"The usual, unnie. Mint chocolate!" Yunjin loosened her hug and faced Chaewon with a proud, loyal look, ready for mint chocolate ice cream. Chaewon smiled at her puppy-like bestie.

"Okay, mint chocolate lover,"

"We're both mint lovers, unnie,"

Sakura, Kazuha, and Eunchae came out of the room together and also went to the refrigerator to get their ice creams. The night wasn't over for them; the final activity was watching a horror movie. Eunchae and Kazuha sat next to each other, while Yunjin, the scaredy-cat, took a spot in the middle of the sofa. Chaewon was supposed to sit next to Yunjin, but since Kkura got there first, she ended up sitting elsewhere.

As they browsed for a good horror movie, Chaewon giggled while looking at her phone and occasionally glancing at Yunjin. She was back to teasing Yunjin, but this time through chatting.

ssamachi: mint lover, u sure you won't pass out?

Huhtriever: i've got Eunchae and Kkura unnie on my side. are u sure you won't jump out of your seat and wet your pants?

Ssamachi: Not gonna happen.

Huhtriever: you say so.

huhtriever: why are you chatting? you can come over here and sat in my lap babe

ssamachi: pervert!!!

huhtriever: hey stop smiling.

The three were weirded out by Yunjin and Chaewon, who were giggling on their phones. They had finished choosing a horror movie, Yunjin and Chaewon were still lost in their own world, catching the attention of the others. When the two noticed the curious stares, Chaewon asked, "Wae wae?" and put her phone down, with Yunjin doing the same. Kazuha and Eunchae exchanged smiles, clearly amused by the situation.

"Okay, let's start watching!" sakura said, cutting the awkward atmosphere.
