Episode 278, Enies Lobby Arc, "Say You Want to Live! We Are Friends!"

The Seasons' Gift

Where I live, they dread winter's cold,
But to me, its beauty quietly unfolds.
Winter's kind, a peaceful, gentle thing,
Who knew it could be my new spring?

Birds still sing through the falling snow,
Beneath the frost, life moves slow.
The world rests, wrapped in a quiet white,
Waiting for the return of light.

Spring soon comes with blossoms new,
Fresh rains and skies a softer blue.
The earth awakens, green and bright,
Each flower, a promise of life's delight.

Then summer bursts in warmth and gold,
Long, bright days, wild and bold.
Fields sway, oceans play,
As nature thrives in its sunlit way.

Autumn follows with its colors deep,
Crisp winds and leaves that gently sweep.
The harvest gathered, the year winds down,
As trees trade green for a jeweled crown.

And as the seasons cycle on,
I wait for winter's quiet song.
In its stillness, I've come to find,
A beauty soft, and deeply kind.

To the passing summer, welcoming autumn, awaiting winter. To the maple for being kind. To the thousand miles away my country welcoming Ganesha at home.

To the carousel of life.
