The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and I felt miserable. I had already lost two rank up battles today, and was beginning to call it quits. Leaving the Deca Tower, at the corner of my eye, I saw a short haired inkling pop out of a grate near the entrance to that sketchy job. She looked around to see if anyone had seen her then walked away. 

She seemed pretty interesting, so I followed her, catching up to her at the Crust Bucket. She ordered then sat down at one of the tables, playing a game on her phone as she waited. I ordered something too because why not.

"Hey, um... could.. I sit here?" I asked, pointing to a chair across from her. She looked up from her phone and nodded to me happily.

"Sure, go ahead! I don't mind!" she said. I pulled out the chair to sit, giving her a small smile.

I've been sitting here for a while with this [Ink/Octo/Ect] for a while, just chatting about random things. It was getting really late and after all the missions I did I just wanted some sleep or maybe just lay down.

"Oh yeah, I didn't get your name. I'm Y/N!" She said to me with a warm smile. I smiled back while replying, "You can call me Four!" She looked at me a little confused when i said my name. "She probably thinks my name's weird or something." I think to myself.

"That's a really interesting name, I like it!" She chuckled as I began to blush a little.
"Thanks, I like your name too." I gave her a warm smile.

"It's getting pretty late... could I get your number before I go?" I asked her while getting out of my seat. She nodded in response and handed me her phone, as i handed her mine. We returned each other's phones and left the Crust Bucket after saying our goodbyes.

"I can't wait to see her again," I say to myself out loud, walking home.
