In between

Next morning, when i opened my eyes i saw Rudra sleeping on bed beside me meanwhile mom and simran was sleeping on another bed infront of me. I looked at the watch it was 5am in the morning. Everyone was sleeping. It was pin drop silence in the room. I tried to sleep again but all the things were bombarding in my head obviously my whole life has fallen apart. I couldn't see the future even my presence. I felt like a dense fog has covered me over which won't fade away ever. I was feeling helpless, although i had my people around me still there was no one not even a single person who was with me. I wiped all the tears from my face. And grabbed my Duppatta, pulled off the saline bandage and took my other belongings and left the hospital silently.
Later Rudra woke up and realised that i was not on the bed he immediately got up and checked the bathroom but that was also empty "nurse!! Doctor!!" He screamed "kya hua Rudra? Tara theek toh haina?" Mom asked surprisingly "Mom Tara nahi hai yaha! Pata nahi gayi" Rudra said panicking. He rushed to the reception "Meri wife kaha gayi? Where is Tara?" He shouted grabbing the collar of Receptionist "sir mujhe nahi pata!" He replied to Rudra "nahi pata matlab? Meri biwi gayab hai! Patient hai woh! Kaha gayi?" He shouted "sir, ward mein check karo" receptionist said "check kiya meine! Saline bhi nikla hua hai poora blood hai floor pe! Dekho agar meri wife ko kuch bhi hua na mein yeh hospital mein Aag laga dunga!" He said pushing receptionist. "Shaant hojao mil jayegi woh!" Mom said stopping him from beating the receptionist "CCTV camera check karo abhi!" Rudra said in low pitched tone "abhi karte hai sir" receptionist said rushing towards the recording room. After checking the recording he saw me running out of the hospital. "Tara! Bahot galat din pe decide kiya tumne bhaagne ka, itni tabiyat kharab hai phir bhi!" He said clenching his fist. "Please le aao tara ko" mom said joining her hands. Rudra rushed out of the hospital to find me.
Meanwhile i tried to walk a little but i couldn't because of my heavy lehenga. "Tara himmat rakh, bus yaha se nikalna hai phir yaha se bahot duur chali jaungi, sabse duur" i said to myself leaning on to the tree. There was a guruji reciting his prayers. "Beti, idhar baith jao! Kya hua tabiyat theek nahi hai kya?" He asked to me "tabiyat theek hai shayad par zindagi theek nahi hai guruji!" I replied restlessly sitting beside him "shaadi hui hai tumhari sabr rakho!" He said calmly "nahi guruji ab kuch nahi ho sakta mujhe yaha se jana hai bus" i said in deep voice trying to control my tears. "Hahaha tum shayad sindoor Aur Mangalsutra ki taqat nahi jaanti beti isliye aisa keh rahi ho par aaj jo tumhari zindagi ka sabse bada sawaal haina wahi tumhari zindagi ka purpose banega, wahi hoga tumhari zindagi ki sachai wahi hoga tumhare har sawaal ka jawab!" Guruji said smiling generously. "Guruji yeh sab kya bolre hai?" I said in my mind. He offered me the freshly prepared prasad. After sometime i stood up to walk again but a car came behind me "Tara!" Rudra shouted from behind. "Shit yaar" i said closing my eyes disappointingly. "Tara, yeh sab kya hai? Tum aise bhaag nahi sakti! Tumhari tabiyat bhi theek nahi hai! Chalo mere sath" Rudra said grabbing my arm "bhaagu nahi toh or kya karu? Kaha jaau? Rudra mere parivaar ne dhoka diya humein jiski wajah se ab humari zindagi barbaad hojayegi!" I said flipping his hands off me "waah bhagwan bhi kya kahani banata  inhe pata hi nahi hai ki inko  7 janmo ke rishte mein bhaandh diya hai" Guruji said laughing lightly. "Jis insaan se bhaag rahi hona beti tum woh samay duur nahi jab iski taraf bhaago ki tum!" Guruji said to me patting on my head "guruji yeh aap kya keh rahe hai" i said furiously "nafrat jaha hoti hai pyar bhi wahi badhta hai! Or tum dono ko dekh ke koi bhi kehdega ki bane hi ek dusre ke liye ho!" Guruji said tapping Rudra's head. "Thank you guruji par abhi humein chalna hoga!" Rudra said pulling me into his car "mujhe nahi jana Rudra choro mujhe! Mein kahi or jana chahti hu" i said pushing him "don't dare to remove this seat belt Tara! Otherwise mujhe bhi zabardasti karni padhegi!" Rudra said with rude voice.

He took me to the hospital and did the discharging formalities. "Ab tu Rudra ke sath rahegi, uski family ke sath rahegi Tara woh bahot care karta hai teri tu bhi bus himmat rakhna" mom consoled me. "Mom mein marjaungi!" I murmured "nahi beta! Tujhe aisa lagra hai ki yeh ending hai par yeh beginning bhi ho sakti hai! Beginning ek beautiful zindagi ki!" Mom said hugging me tightly "mein papa se revenge lungi theek 1 mahine baad Rudra ko divorce leke!" I said to mom "unke liye best revenge tab hoga jab teri shaadi khubsurti se chalegi, jab tum dono pyar karne lagoge, jab duniya ki koi taqat tumhe alag nahi kar payegi, tab hogi unki haar" mom said patting my back. "Beta!" Papa said knocking on the door. I immediately locked the door from inside. "Sabse pehla punishment yahi hoga ki woh aaj ke baad mujhe dekh bhi na sake" i said to mom. "Tara door kholo!" Papa shouted knocking forcefully but neither i nor mon replied "Tara kya hua door kholo humein chalna hai" Rudra said from outside. "Mein door kholungi par sirf Rudra enter kar sakta hai!" I screamed opening the door "Tara tumhare papa aaye hai!" Rudra said to me "mein unse nahi milna chahti naa hi unhe dekhna chahti hu! Kuch aisa karo ki na mein unko dekh paau na woh mujhe!" I said to Rudra. He took my belongings in one hand and took the Dupatta in one hand. He leaned over me to rolled the Dupatta around my body he then pulled the Dupatta over my head to cover my whole face. "Ab theek hai?" He asked to me murmuring in my ear. He lifted me in his arms and went straight out of the room and the only thing i could see was Rudra.

"Auntie is that true ki Rudra ne shaadi karli?" Zoya asked Malini "tumpe meine itna trust kiya tha, isliye mein tumhe ghar mein bhi entry dedi mujhe laga tum kuch toh karogi par tumne toh Rudra ko poora hi chordiya!" Malini said avoiding her "that is not true woh suddenly kal bhaag gaya phir pata chala Durva gayab hai mujhe abhi pata lagra hai ki shaadi karli usne" Zoya said to Malini. "Ab aayega woh apni wife ko leke! Tum bhi kardena uski wife ka welcome" Malini taunted Zoya.
