I was fully drenched in the rain when I reached home however i tried to kept floor dry as much as I could. I was about to get in the room by then someone whispered right behind me "Aagayi?" I closed my eyes in disappointment while but heart was beating like crazy as soon as i turned around i saw Abhishek. He started laughing after seeing my pale face "Aapko mujhe saath leke janaa chaiye tha, akele kaha gayi thi?" He asked me "stop laughing like an idiot and lemme get ready" I slammed door right on his face suddenly it reminded me of how that rude guy shut the car door right infront of me, I could not stop myself from thinking about him all i could remember was how rudely he hold my hand. The whole scene was constantly running like a movie in my mind which i could not help but think about it again and again. Simran came she helped me with makeup and clothes. After sometime my dad came in the room "Ready hogyi meri beti? Kitni sundar lag rahi hai". He complimented "dad I don't want to marry anyone right now" I plead.
"Just give it a chance okay?" He asked. "Umm hmmm" I replied.
After some time, i heard people talking from living area "they came" simran said while barging into my room. My heartbeat increased, there were thousands of thoughts running in my mind at a time. I was nervous,my palms were getting numb, my throat became dry like a desert. "Tension mat le sab theek hoga". Simran assured me "kya theek hoga yaar mujhe jab shaadi hi nahi karni hai toh!" "Calm down" she said. My mom cane into the room to took me down "chalo, theek se karna sab". She smiled at me, while we were walking downstairs all i could see is my feet. I decided to avoid eye contact or see any of there faces. I greeted all of them before getting seated.
As i was constantly looking at my feet "Tara meet Raisighanis" she said as soon as i lifted my eyes up to see there faces. And my world just shook for a second, i could not move my eyes anymore all i could see is that same honey brown eyes which i saw at the hotel
"Tum?" We both said
"Tum Rudra ko janti ho?" Mom asked both of our families got confused after seeing our reactions.
"Hum yaha kyu aaye hai?" Rudra asked his mom
"Batati hu tujhe baadmein filaal yaha sambhal le!" Her mom replied. "Tara! Chalo Rudra ko terrace dikha ke aao" "dekhni kyu hai pehle kabhi terrace nahi dekhi kya? I murmured "chalo!" I said loudly he got up "stop making those faces" i said to him while we were climbing up the stairs "tumse matlab?" "Matlab hai kyu ki mujhe tumse shaadi nahi karni hai!" I said "shaadiii??? With you??"he asked cluelessly "tum hi rishta leke aao na itna nahi pata? Toh yeh pata karlo ki chaahe jo hojaye mein tumse shaadi nahi karne wali?". "Ha toh matt karo mein kaunsa mara jara hu". He said to me "deal?" I asked, "done" he replied. "Toh hum dono mana kardenge ki hum dono shaadi nahi karenge". I said "yeahh, i mean mein or tumse shaadi? Never! He said. For the first time he was making sense to me, my mood somehow lifted a bit. So, we decided to go down back to our family to tell them our decision which we made but as soon as we reached down both our family were already celebrating we both looked at each other "Aagaye dono". Uncle Rishi said and both of our family asked us "how's it?" We both replied "theek but" "congratulations Rishta pakka!" Uncle Rishi interrupted "wow" whole family cheered up. While we both were still in shock that what just happened. I couldn't feel the floor beneath my feet anymore while everyone started congratulating me I couldn't utter a single word. I could only feel how my romantic life was turning into life long tragedy.
