The sun inched over the horizon and painted the home a tranquil orange as the night finally passed. Even through the most relentless moments time will always pass, the sun being the embodiment of such. Inside of a quiet home resided four people, three being awake much longer than they should.

Two of those people were staring each other down, one with a rising suspicion and the other with a rather comedic smile.

˗ˋˏ°• . . . . . •°ˎˊ˗

⦅ Hmmmm. . . . ⦆

˗ˋˏ°• And. . . you said you're a friend of Averine. . . ? No offense but you don't even look. . . you know. . .•°ˎˊ˗

⦅ I don't believe I do. Don't tell me your speciesist. ⦆

That remark earned a swift raise of an eyebrow from the botanist. ˗ˋˏ°• No. . . what? What does that even mean? •°ˎˊ˗

Error threw his head away from Haven with a oddly beaming pout, a well of tears suddenly gracing his eyelids.

⦅ To think I came to such a prehistoric time. . . this story is much too cruel to me. . . ⦆

He wailed as a damaged prince as he clenched his fist. Along with the lighting from outside he looked ridiculously dramatic.

˗ˋˏ°• You're. . . definitely something. Now I'm glad I'm not like you. •°ˎˊ˗

⦅ What? You just met me what do you mean you're glad? ⦆

˗ˋˏ°• I mean technically, but after what you told me about your whole deal with Averine I haven't exactly been convinced to think you're solid. •°ˎˊ˗

⦅ Well I've told you what I've been doing not what I am. ⦆

˗ˋˏ°• Okay well what are you? •°ˎˊ˗

  ⦅ Spoilers. ⦆

Another response that earned the honest gesture of an eyeroll from Haven. This little creature just feels like it's going to be an issue if it's like this all the time.

Above the unexplained hatred of Haven, the shooting star opted for a bit less of socializing and rested on the upper floor porch. The sun rising was serving as a gorgeous way to rest the overwhelming amount of thoughts looping in her head. She found herself drifting off once again, yet the image of being chased played vividly once more and made the attempt of rest futile. So she opted once more with the second most convenient option: spiking that second energy source of hers to reawaken. A faint burning sensation went down her body yet faded as fast as it appeared.

༻ Keeping your body awake through harm is a poor substitute to rest, dear star. ༺

Another case of phantom appearance. This one was at least made by someone that lived there, but it still caught the Shooting Star at a very horrid time. This spike in jumpscares needs to end as soon as possible.

Seeing her jump in her seat made a light giggle come from Patricia as she took a seat just across from her. She offered Averine a small bag of fruit snacks that she took with a very appreciative nod.

༻ I apologize if I've caught you at a bad time, but it was almost impossible to not pay mind to that tainted spirit of yours.༺

To no ones surprise Averine was left with an inclined head. ❝ Tainted spirit? What's that supposed to mean?  ❞

༻ It simply means that I've seen someone in a negative mind space. Yours is different I must say, but if I only tended to kindred souls I wouldn't deserve the title or occupation I have. ༺
