Dartmoor, Devon

August 1995

"HE'S NOT JUST AN ATHLETE. HE'S AN ARTIST."

"Think you're in love Ron." Astra teased with a smile, throwing her scarf over his head. The game had finished hours ago but all of the campsite was still celebrating, the Irish going above and beyond.

He scowled and got down from the table. "Shut up Astra."

This piped the twins to start singing. "Victor, I love you. Victor I do."

Ginny and Harry joined in with Astra, laughing at the youngest Weasley boy's expense. "When we're apart my heart beats only for you!"

Ron grumbled something, a disgruntled smile appearing on his face as Astra wrapped an arm around him, a giddy grin on hers. "Ah cheer up."

He rolled his eyes as Fred pulled her into a waltz, spinning her around the dining room table as George and Ginny whistled. Astra laughed excitedly, allowing Fred to lift her onto the table as he followed, taking her hand and spinning her around again.

The smile never left her face as, when the hour was up, the girls left the tent to go next door and bid goodnight to the Weasley boys.

Hermione yawned, rubbing her eyes, consequently smearing her face paint. "God, I'm exhausted."

Astra couldn't agree more as she pushed open the curtain that led to the twin's room, calling goodnight softly to the girls as she all but fell onto her bed.

With a giant yawn that rivalled that of this mornings, she pulled off her jacket and hung it on the edge of the bed, putting on her pyjamas.

The first thing she noticed when she put her head on the pillow was the faint scent of Fred's distinct cologne. Astra yawned again as she pulled the duvet over herself, allowing herself to lull off to sleep after the hectic day.

It could not have been more than an hour later that Astra was awoken by screams. Screams of fear, of terror, of panic. No longer did happiness and cheers echo around the campsite. Footsteps ran past her tent, the screams getting closer and closer.

She could also smell the faint scent of fire, overpowering the room's original scent.

Astra grabbed her wand, her jacket and shoes, running into the next room to wake the girls, her heart pounding at the unknown. She had no idea what was happening but she knew it wasn't safe anymore.

The 13 year old girl jumped as Hermione blinked awake, immediately sensing the danger of the open field and jumping out of bed to grab her wand and shoes.

Charlie burst through the front flaps just to run straight into the girls who were leaving, Ginny starting to cry in fear as she held Astra's hand. There was an air of stress coming from the man, Charlie couldn't allow his best friend's sister to be harmed.

Dora would kill him.

Astra kept a strong hand on Ginny's, pulling her out of the tent and seeing the twins run over, Bill and Percy running from behind them fully dressed. It was then Astra took in what the screaming was about.

Everything was on fire.

There were numerous people in black masks everywhere you looked, and one was nearing fifteen feet away from the Weasleys, spinning a small muggle child sixty feet above them in the air.
