"LEE. PLEASE GO BOTHER SOMEONE ELSE."
Astra glanced up before looking down at her essay, dismissing her brother who was begging her for help.
Lee Jordan huffed, still pleading his sister to help with his transfiguration homework. They were supposed to be practicing how to turn fairy cakes into fairies and the boy had only succeeded in giving the wings the ability to flap. He'd spent half the lesson watching it float a foot above the desk.
Astra sighed, and paused writing. "Lee, I'm trying to do my potions homework." She had to write out two feet of parchment about the laughing potion and whilst it had been set today and wasn't due until Friday, she wasn't like Fred and leave it to the last minute.
"I'll give you my last chocolate frog." Lee didn't give up and Astra eventually gave in, breaking off a part of the frog as Lee placed two triumphant fairy cakes on the small table infront of them, the potions essay being pushed to the side.
She ensured he knew the incantation before he pointed his wand at the fairy cake.
"Okay, speak clearly and focus on what you want to appear."
Lee stared so hard at the cake that it not only grew wings, it floated up to the top of the Gryffindor common room and left an icing smear on the ceiling.
Both Astra and Lee, plus the newly arrived Fred and George, stared at it for a moment before bursting into laughter, Astra summoning the cupcake.
"I can't clean that. But okay, start again. You two, shut up." Both twins shrugged and merely sat down in front of the fire, closing their mouths.
Lee breathed out, opening his eyes slowly. It took them around an hour of chanting the incantation, and an hour of the twin's muttering beside them and bending over parchment, for Lee to finally master the charm, the newly pink and white fairy flittering up towards the open window.
Lee let out a triumphant yell as Astra breathed out in relief.
"Finally."

"Zonko's first, then the Three Broomsticks."
Astra agreed with the boys, shivering violently into her white coat as George pulled her into the shop, full with various customers.
The girl breathed in the warm air gratefully, adjusting her earmuffs, as she scanned the shelves, her eyes falling on the numerous new products they had but she had already got the twin's Christmas present; she'd figured out how to sort out the Ton-tongue toffee and brought them more inventory so they could make more products.
Lee was easy, she just bought one of Zonko's mystery boxes and shrunk it down, hiding it in her small handbag. Turning around, she found George hiding behind her, grinning down at her.
