Chapter 1: The Rise of Astraea Familia

Once upon a time, the gods grew tired of their celestial thrones and sought adventure amongst the mortals of the lower world. 

They left their divine powers behind and took up residence in the world of mortals, where they lived as normal people and experienced all the hardships that came with it. 

Their only gift to us mortals was the power to fight monsters, a blessing they called 'Falna'

Those who received this power became the gods' faithful servants, forming what we now call 'Familias'

One day, a young child with a monumental destiny would stumble upon the Astraea Familia... Whether this child would bring order, harmony, and hope, or pandemonium, devastation, and doom, was yet unseen.

Sigrid' PoV 

When I opened my eyes, the first thing that caught my attention was a pair of very large boobs right in front of me. That's right, I had asked Astraea-sama to sleep with me last night.

Would mine grow that big someday? It would be so neat to look mature and ladylike like Astraea-sama or... Mama.

Yawning, I rubbed sleep from my eyes and sat up on the soft mattress..

''Good morning, Sigrid-chan.'' Astraea-sama's gentle voice greeted me.

Turning, I smiled widely at my goddess. ''Good morning! I slept really good last night.'' It felt nice waking up to a warm embrace, almost like having a mama again. I was lucky to join Astraea's familia and call her my new family.

Astraea-sama chuckled softly at the sight of my messy morning hair. ''Let me help tidy that for you, dear one.'' she offered kindly.

I nodded eagerly as she took up a hairbrush. Closing my eyes, I relaxed into the soothing rhythm of the brush gliding through my hair, accompanied by Astraea-sama's tender strokes with her hand. It felt so nice, just like when Mom used to brush out the tangles every morning.

I hoped we'd be family forever.

All too soon, the brushing stopped. But when I opened my eyes, Astraea-sama's kind face was there. ''All done! Should we go brush our teeth together now, Sigrid?''

''Yes, please!'' I cheered, fetching my toothbrush from my bag. It was nice having someone to share the morning routines with, like families were supposed to. Grandpa was never awake early enough to brush with me before.

After our teeth were clean and faces washed, Astraea-sama cooked us the most delicious breakfast! Her pancakes and eggs were fluffier than clouds. I ate everything with gusto, eager to face the day.

Once my belly is full, I bounced to the door - it was time for my big debut! I wanted to register as an adventurer and start getting super strong.

Astraea-sama came to send me off. ''Good luck, my dear. Be safe and listen to your advisor. But I know you'll do great things.'' she said with a soft smile.

I beamed, filled with courage and determination. ''I'll try my best and make you proud, Astraea-sama!'' I vowed. With her blessing, I felt ready to take on any challenge. It was exciting to start my new journey, yet comforting to know I had a home and new family to return to.

''See you later, Astraea-sama!'' I called, waving as I stepped out the door.

She waved back with an encouraging nod. Closing it behind me, I smiled to myself as I put on my mask and patting the sheathed sword at my hip. It was time to embark on my grand adventure.
