The night was ablaze in the 6th district of Orario, thick pillars of smoke rising like smoldering clouds and flashes of fire illuminating the dark. People fled from a large factory engulfed by flames, screams issuing from within - the laughter of chaos, as those who would see order fail reveled in their destruction.

As the fire was about to reduce a whole stretch of the city into ash, a white-haired girl stood atop a building, casting magic while another sound rang out in the streets. The unmistakable clash of blades echoed through the night - the war cry of order, the melody of justice fighting to retake control.

''Gwaaah?!''

A bladed boomerang whirled through the night air, ripping through those who stood on evil's side. Its victims slumped to the ground, already slick with blood... but not dead. The boomerang returned to its pink-pallum wielder's hand - Lyra.

''Alise!'' Lyra shouted. ''Warehouse number three is clear!''

''Move on to number four!'' The scarlet-haired girl replied. ''Lyra, take Iska, Maryuu and Ryana to clear out the next section!''

Flames and sparks continued to spill from the factory windows as smoke billowed from every door. Yet the brave and nimble footsteps never once broke stride.

''Sure thing, Vice-captain. Your orders.'' Lyra asked Alise with a slight grin.

''Use Ice to freeze the enemies and the flames! Stop both of them at once-'' Alise was cut off before she could finish.

''You know we aren't Siri right? Anyway, our captain already prepared her magic so prepare to feel cold here.'' Lyra said with a mischievous tone.

''Oh! Right! Then just beat up the enemies!'' Alise ordered, since Sigrid wasn't present.

The marching beat of justice was unstoppable. Glinting steel vanquished their foes, the fighters descended deeper into the heart of the factory, suddenly bathed in a cold blizzard that extinguished not only the fires within this factory but also those around it.

The scarlet-haired girl's smile sprang to her lips. ''As expected of our captain! The whole fire is extinguished! Kaguya, Lion! Take care of the enemy's main force!''

A pair of footsteps echoed off the floor. The first belonged to a raven-haired beautiful human girl wearing a scarlet kimono, Gojouno Kaguya. Beside her ran a blond-haired elf in clock and mask, Ryuu Lion.

Kaguya sighed softly. ''She sure loves to abuse her vice-captain status to work us to the bone.'' She muttered, a hint of annoyance in her voice. ''Make sure you don't fall behind, Miss Elf.''

''Enough talk, Kaguya. We move.'' Ryuu said curtly, and their speed took their opponents completely by surprise.

Despite their slender physiques, the two girls were instantly among the enemy ranks, slashing wildly with precision. Their weapons flew like a delicate dance choreography - Kaguya's blade slicing through foes with deadly accuracy, while Ryuu's wooden sword struck true again and again.

The foes in white robes struggled to defend themselves, much less fight back. Their swords and spears left openings; their axes moved too slowly; and even their shields broke apart under the relentless assault.

The only thing left to decide was whether they'd be cut into ribbons by Kaguya's blade or broken by Ryuu's wooden sword.

''Gyaaagh?!''

The final enemy fell with a gurgle, succumbing to Ryuu's wooden sword. Beside her, Kaguya's hand rose to her cheek, a despondent sigh escaping her lips like a dying ember.

''How disappointing,'' she said, her voice dripping with disdain. ''It beggars belief how these wretched weaklings can cause so much misery and pain.'' Behind her mask of feigned serenity lurked a smoldering anger.
