Chapter 13 (Edited-Longer Chapter)

Saint Margaret Hospital, Budapest Hungary

Doctor Russel wanted to keep Arizona overnight in the hospital under observation just to be safe. Even after all her tests came back clear, Scott left around 9 in the morning to head to work and Arizona managed to convince her Uncle to head back to the hotel to get proper rest since she doubted he'd left her bedside much since she was put in the hospital. 

The dark-haired woman lay in her hospital bed looking out at the lights covering the skyline of Budapest. "Beautiful isn't it?" Scott asked causing her to look to the doorway of the room where he was standing. "It is, I missed how stunning Budapest is at night," Arizona replied as Scott walked into the room. "I wasn't talking about Budapest, though it is a close second to stunning views in this room," Scott replied causing her face to turn red. 

Thankfully the lights were off in the room, "I heard from your uncle you're both heading home tomorrow?" Scott asked as Arizona nodded. "I'm gonna head back to Virginia, spend some time with my uncle, and our friends then take a trip to see my brother and after that, I'm hoping to come back to Budapest," Arizona replied. "Well, you should let me know when you're back in the city so I could take you to dinner?" Scott asked. 

A smile formed on Arizona's face as she nodded, "Sounds like a date," she replied. "It could be, if that's what you want?" Scott replied as he took a seat on the edge of her bed. Arizona leaned forward and softly pressed her lips to his; taking Scott by surprise as he kissed her back. "When I get back we can talk about it over dinner," she said more than asked softly after she broke the kiss. Scott nodded, "Okay," he replied softly leaning in and kissing her again before breaking the kiss. "I should get going, let you get some rest. Message me when you get home," Scott said as he stood up and made his way out the door. 

The Following Night...

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Quantico Virginia

The flight from Budapest back to Virginia was a long 15-hour flight. Both Arizona and Dave departed the flight into the airport close to 11 PM. They made their way to baggage claim and bragged their bags before they walked through the airport in silence, walking towards the airport's parking structure. 

Uncle Dave drove Arizona back to his house, which was only a 2-minute drive from the airport. As they drove in silence with the radio playing softly in the background; the dark-haired woman pulled her phone out and sent a message. 

To: Forrester

'Hey, we just landed in Virginia. Thought I'd let you know :) Also, I'm looking forward to returning for that dinner date you promised'

Agent David Rossi's Residence, Quantico Virginia 

Arizona sent the message with a smirk on her face, something her uncle caught as he drove up the gated driveway and parked the vehicle in front of the large mansion Arizona practically grew up in after her dad sent her to live with Uncle Dave. "I see you and Forrester are still close," her uncle said as he switched the vehicle off and the two stepped out. "Yea, it's one of the nice things with our friendship. We can go a while not talking and pick up where we left off," Arizona replied as she and her uncle grabbed their bags from the trunk of the vehicle. 

"Friendship? Ari, I saw the way you used to look at him and talk about him," Uncle Dave said as they shut the doors on the vehicle and made their way inside. "Okay?" Arizona asked wanting him to get to his point. Uncle Dave paused in front of the front door before pushing a key into the lock and turning it. The bolt lock clicked unlocking, "I'm saying not much has changed in the way. You still get that spark in your eyes when you talk to him, or about him, Your face goes red, and you can't stop smiling. Sounds to me like you still like him," Uncle Dave said as he opened the front door and the two walked inside shutting the door behind them.
