Biology started as usual, apart from the fact that Edward was there and watching him and Bella interact had been incredibly awkward.
Mr. Molina assigned them a test, to which she looked at Emmett at her side with pleading eyes. «Tell me you're good at this. »
«Sab, I'm a senior and I'm following a junior's class. » he said smirking. «What do you think? »
She let out an exasperated sigh. «Understood. I look, » she said taking the microscope. «and you write. » she slide a pen and the sheet toward him.
He gave her a big smile putting his hand on his forehead. «Yes, boss. »
Sabrina rolled her eyes playfully before tying her hair in a low bun and starting to look at the cells. They worked in silence, sometimes she offered Emmett the microscope, and every time he looked into it he would find hideous names. «Pratacolaxy. » he whispered once making her laugh so hard that Mr. Molina turned to look at them.
«I hope you two are enjoying the test, Mr. Cullen and Ms. Ferrari. » he remarked ironically.
She asked sorry before turning on the microscope, still fighting a laugh inside her and biting her lip.
«You are so bad. » she whispered him whit a side eye.
«You have no idea. » he whispered back smiling in what it seemed a bear way. Could bear even smile? She doubted that.
Lesson ended with the victory of Edward and Bella. Surprisingly they were smiling at each other, even though she noticed that he looked like he was going to vomit.
«Tell me, do you have any normal sibling, or they all look like they've eaten a lemon when they are close to a girl? » she asked curiously to Emmett while they were packing their things.
He burst out laughing, earning everyone's attention again. Thankfully the lesson was over, otherwise she couldn't imagine what Mr. Molina would have done.
«I swear, Sabrina. You are so funny. » he could barely speak between the laughs. «I'm gonna have so much fun teasing them with what you just said. » He kept laughing while he walked away, not giving her a true answer.
«I'll take that as a no. » she murmured walking toward AP history.
She gave Edward and Jasper a nod before sitting down beside Melissa. The two girls talked briefly before the lesson started. She took away her hairband and let her hair fell all over her shoulders. In the same moment she heard a shift behind her, and looking with the corner of her eyes she saw Jasper holding the desk with a hand while with the other covered his nose.
She looked at him incredulous. «Are you serious right now? » she asked whispering. Sabrina couldn't believe it. It was better not be because of her smell again.
«Sabrina, not now. » Edward warned her, but all she could see were Jasper's black eyes staring back at her.
«Always been golden my ass. » she scoffed giving him one last look before focusing back on the professor.
She hoped it was all a sick joke. Something to make fun of the new girl, because otherwise something was very, very, wrong. She couldn't do it again. She couldn't be around people who lied to her again.
Sabrina was sure she wouldn't survive this time.

«Remember to study for our French test. » said Sabrina in front of Melissa's car. «If it's true, I expect you to marry that girl. » she pointed to her friend winking.
«Trust me, I would do it for free. »
«Oh-ho. » Jason sounded alarmed looking over Sabrina's shoulder. «Jasper Hale coming at your 6 o'clock. »
