An interview happening in a police department. A man named Itami Reipu was brought in after almost raping a young woman. Under normal circumstances, Naomasa wouldn't be working on this case as he's been so busy working on the "Small For One" case. Not to mention he also has to look for Izuku, who at his point has been missing for almost five months.

That are just two problems he has to deal with. He's also worried about the young serial killer Himiko Toga. There haven't been any crimes attributed to her in a while. That means either she got help with her quirk or she's dead, and the likelihood of someone helping her is slim to none.

The arsonist Dabi's been getting a lot more active and he's been seen scoping out Aldera Jr High. It's believed that's where he's going to burn next.

Then there's also the problem of the Shie Hassaikai. They've been getting more active lately, it's almost like they're looking for something.

This all started five months ago, around the time Izuku ran away from home. Dabi became more active, Himiko Toga's all but disappeared, Small For One showed up, and the Shie Hassaikai has been moving into the area. Is it possible that this is all connected somehow?

Naomasa had to stop himself and take a breather. He has so much to keep track of and now he's seeing connections where there are none. The only way Izuku and Small For One could be connected is if they met each other. Himiko Toga and Dabi have changed their patterns on occasion so that's not too out of the ordinary, and the Shie Hissaikai's probably just trying to expand their territory.

The sleep-deprived detective sighed and took a sip of coffee before going into the interrogation room. It seemed like it would be another addition to the Small For One case, something else to hopefully find the kid until it was revealed where the battle took place. That particular alley had cameras that were watching the fight. It didn't take long to get the footage, all they needed was for All Might to ask for it. Perks of being the number one hero.

The footage was sent to Nezu, Eraserhead, and All Might for review. It showed a boy in a dark blue unzipped jacket with a white fluffed hood, a dirty and ripped white shirt arriving on the scene and interfering with the attempted rape. He used three quirks, two of which have been identified as coming from known criminals, Fire and knife, though one was currently unknown. It seemed to be some kind of transformative quirk like Salaams it allowed him to be paper thin.

The footage showed him struggling to fight back with his two emitter quirks before he used his transformative one and managed to get behind Mr. Reipu when he then took his quirk. The odd thing was that when he started using his transformative quirk he seemed noticeably slow. It was Nezu who created a hypothesis to explain this, "It's well known that emitter and transformative quirks both take stamina to use so imagine how exhausting it'd be using three of those types of quirks at once."

While this doesn't give us much it does give us a possible way of capturing him. Extending the battle as much as possible will eventually tire him out and leave him easy to capture. It's not going to be our first option, we want to first see about getting him to give up willingly. If we try and capture him forcefully he'll fight back and might come to resent heroes. We don't want another All For One on our hands.

_______________

Naomasa was agitated as he drove home from the precinct. This would be the first time in almost a week that he'd be going home to sleep instead of just sleeping in his office. The police chief had all but commanded him to go home and rest so he could come back and approach this case with a well-rested mind. Naomasa was agitated since this was the first useful piece of information since the case was opened.
