What do I do!?

do I call him?

Will he even answer!?

these were many of the questions Shoto was facing besides his father's harsher training.

There was also a guy covered in burns watching our school — mostly me tho...

When I arrived home I was planning to ask my father to help look for my friend, he probably wouldn't do it but the entire point of sending me there socially behind.

But when I got there I saw a police car, probably asking if he could get a villain.

When I walked in I realized who it was: the detective who was searching for Izuku!

"Did you find anything?" Shoto asked.

"yes and no, We don't know where he is but we know a lot about his situation."

When Izuku woke up he wasn't in the trash pile anymore. Instead, he found himself in a dark void with the ground around him being made of some odd black water he was somehow standing on. An occasional streak of red lightning reminiscent of his bio-electricity from All For One would occasionally come down from the sky around him. When he looked up to discern the source he came to the immediate conclusion that he wasn't anywhere on earth anymore.

Above him was more darkness with a few major bodies. The one that drew his attention first was what looked like a large vortex going towards a pit of darkness somehow more dark than the void around it. Like a gaping hole in reality. It reminded him of the pictures of black holes he'd seen back in his old school library. The event horizon would be the oddly dark hole in the middle, and the red vortex around it would be the accretion disk.

The only thing that told him that this wasn't a black hole would be the storm inside the accretion disk

The only thing that told him that this wasn't a black hole would be the storm inside the accretion disk. It looked like a storm made of red lightning that would periodically strike around him, though never hitting him.

The last thing he noticed, he noticed because of how small it was

The last thing he noticed, he noticed because of how small it was. Going around the black hole, but never entering the storm, were many multicolored lights. Ten to be exact. For some reason he couldn't place, all the lights seemed oddly familiar. He wanted to get a closer look at them, and as if he commanded it, they all flew down and surrounded him.

Izuku was both startled and confused. How'd the lights know he wanted to get a closer look at them? How'd they move against the black hole-like thing above them? The thing that confused him the most was, why did they only move when he wanted them to? He took a closer look at the lights and noticed some odd details about them.

One looked like it was made of red energy with small knight-like spikes, another was just a ball of fire, and another looked almost 2D. The one that made him realize what these lights were was the little black light that seemed to be made out of ink with bat-like wings around it. The same kind of wings Tattooed Wings gave him. That's when everything clicked. These weren't lights, they were quirks. His quirks.

"If that's the case then that means that," he mumbled his thought process into the void as he lifted his head towards the swirling red storm above him, "Is All For One."

Izuku then felt an odd tug, as if something were pulling him back. Suddenly he found himself sinking into the black water around him. No matter how hard he struggled he couldn't keep himself from sinking. When he was fully submerged he tried to hold his breath but couldn't for too long. When he breathed in he discovered something interesting. Despite being submerged in what he could only assume was water he could breathe just fine.

Before he could think more about what happened around him he awoke to find himself in his sleeping bag. Izuku was confused about how he got here after being in that void when he heard sniffling to his left. When he looked he found Himiko cuddled up next to him crying in her sleep. "Himiko?" he asked through chapped lips.

Almost immediately Himiko was awake and all over him with a dozen questions, "Izu-kun! You're awake! Do you need anything!? Water!? Food!? I can go get you some!"

She said as she tried to rush to the mini-fridge. Izuku grabbed her before she could get too far. When she turned around he looked at her in her red and puffy eyes with confusion and worry. "Himiko, are you alright? What happened?"

Himiko, with tears in her eyes, explained, "You left in the middle of the night. I woke up and waited to confront you about leaving me without saying anything... but when you got back you just collapsed! I nearly grabbed you before you hit the ground. I tried everything I could to get you to wake up but nothing worked," she said as she started hyperventilating. Izuku wasted no time in getting to his feet and pulling her into a hug."You didn't wake up all day," she added. As she cried on his shirt he heard her mumble something along the lines of, "Please don't leave me alone again."

It didn't take long for Izuku to understand what happened. When he came home from his last battle he passed out in front of Himiko. While he was messing with his quirk she was panicking, thinking he wasn't going to wake up. As Izuku held Himiko he didn't know what to say. He'd never dealt with something like this before. With no idea what he was doing, he just did what felt natural. He held Himiko close while patting her head and told her, "I'm sorry for scaring you Himi-chan. I'm not going to leave you, not again."

Himiko moved away just enough to look Izuku in the eyes and asked with an all too pitiful voice, "You promise?"

Himiko didn't have to wait too long for her answer. "I promise Himi-chan," was Izuku's immediate response. Himiko then smiled at him before returning to her spot in his arms. They stayed like that for a while until Himiko calmed down.

All was quiet for a while until Izuku's stomach growled, indicating his hunger. Himiko giggled as Izuku's face became red from embarrassment. They prepared some instant ramen cups for themselves. It turns out Himiko'd been neglecting food in her attempts to get Izuku to wake up which Izuku was extremely guilty for. While they were eating Izuku explained what he saw while he was passed out.

"I think it's a manifestation of my quirk. I'm not totally sure but I've heard of quirks that give their users odd dreams so maybe it's something like that," Izuku explained.

"What happened when you left?" She then looked down, her previous depression returning. "You were very injured."

Izuku took a moment to find the best way to phrase what happened to him without worrying Himiko too much. He explained he was fighting a pretty strong villain and didn't realize his quirk was draining his stamina as much as it was. Himiko donned a pensive look before stating with absolute certainty, "I'm going with you next time."

"W-what!? H-Himiko, why would-" Izuku attempted to ask before Himiko cut him off.

"I'm not going to let you go out there on your own anymore," she said before looking Izuku in the eyes, tears threatening to fall. "I almost lost you yesterday. I don't want to risk that and if me being there helps even a little, I'm going to do it."

Izuku immediately felt his resolve turn to dust upon seeing her watering eyes. Izuku sighed, knowing he couldn't say no to her, especially like that, and agreed. "Fine," Himiko immediately squealed in joy before jumping to hug him,  heat already rising to his face as he put his hand up to stop her from jumping on him.

It failed...

they cuddled all night.
