We got ready and left for shopping; it took us about an hour to get there. The store was enormous and luxurious, featuring collections from every popular brand. It was known as the number one store in the city.

As we walked inside, every eye turned toward us. Of course, they would—he was a famous figure, after all. That was exactly what he wanted: all eyes on us, right?

"Welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Miller," one of the store attendants greeted us. She was a beautiful woman, likely in her early to mid-thirties. "Please, come this way," she said as she led us to the quietest corner of the store, away from the crowds.

"Thank you, Mia," I said, reading her name on her badge. She smiled at me brightly.

"Please, have a seat here," she said, motioning toward a couch. "I will be back with the dresses." She left us alone.

"How does she know what we want?" I asked Eden, who was sitting right beside me.

"I called the owner earlier," he replied coolly.

"Oh," I said, thinking to myself—rich people and their connections.

Mia returned with a garment rack filled with a variety of dresses hanging from it.

"This is our latest collection," Mia said, pulling a dress from the rack. "This one arrived just yesterday, and there are only ten pieces of it available worldwide." It was a green bodycon dress with a plunging neckline—gorgeous in its own right. She showed me each dress she had picked out, and I would be lying if I said they weren't beautiful. As she presented the dresses, every neck in the store turned in our direction. Still, none of them were to my liking.

"Thank you very much, Mia, for showing me all these dresses," I said, rising from the couch and stepping closer to her. "They are undoubtedly beautiful, but I'm afraid they aren't quite to my taste." Truthfully, I didn't want to buy anything here—they were all very expensive—but as Mrs. Miller, I felt I had to. "I prefer simple and elegant dresses that aren’t overly designed."

"I understand, ma'am," she replied with a smile. "I will bring the dresses right away—"

"No," I interrupted as she was about to leave. "Just show me the area, and I'll look for myself." I wasn't used to this kind of treatment, so I found it more comfortable to select the dresses on my own.

"Of course," she said, signaling one of the attendants to take the garment rack back. "This way, please." She led me to another section, not too far from where we had been sitting.

"I hope you find the dress you desire," she said as she showed me the area, where numerous dresses were arranged on racks. There were various brands, colors, and styles, all quite different from the ones she had shown me earlier.

I smiled at her and began browsing through the dresses she was showing me. I asked her to leave me to it, but she insisted on staying, so I didn’t refuse.

I noticed Eden still sitting not far from where I was. He was on a phone call, but his eyes were on me the entire time.

In the end, she showed me some very lovely dresses that I couldn’t resist. I even tried a few on and, after much deliberation, finally settled on two dresses.

Now, sitting on the couch after trying on and selecting the dresses, I felt exhausted. Shopping really is as tiring as it is interesting.

"I will be right back after packing these dresses," Mia said, holding the two dresses I had selected.

But before she could leave, Eden interrupted. "Wait," he said, and she stopped in her tracks. He turned to face me as he spoke."Pack all the dresses she tried on," he instructed, his intense gaze fixed on me. I widened my eyes in surprise.
