Jan is helping us train to beat Iceland and I could not be happier! Both Hans and Jan have known me since I was born, Hans was actually the one who taught me to skate.

The team found out that Adam can't play. He injured his wrist and Bombay benched him. So Charlie found a replacement... Russ!

We have a game against Russia in three hours. The team has been practicing really hard and I think that we have a real shot at winning! 

We are leading 3-0. Russ comes out and shoots, he scores! Russ calls his shot the 'knuckle puck'. We end up winning against Russia.

We start walking back to the locker room and there is tons of paparazzi standing in front. Everyone is so confused.

"I told him no visitors, but he wanted to congratulate you anyway!" Bombay walks in and not far behind him is Wayne Gretsky. The team is going wild. We get a picture with him and head back to the hotel. I'm about to get in the elevator but Bombay stops me.

"Look Macy we gotta talk.." Bombay and I go back to his house. The entire car ride to his place is silent. We finally get there.

"Geez, Gordon you're scaring me..." I sit down on the couch. Jan walks over to me. I'm not quite sure when he got to the house since he didn't leave with us. "Okay, now you guys are really scaring me." I laugh. No one else joins in.

"Macy, your dad has been trying to reach you..." Bombay sits down beside me and puts his hand on my shoulder.

"So what? He's only doing this cause I'm on tv. We all know he doesn't really care." I can feel tears forming in my eyes.

"Mace... he's really sick." Jan hands me a tissue.

"I don't get the point of him leaving if he just keeps coming back. He needs to just stay out of my life." I take the tissue. Even though I'm crying I feel more frustrated than sad.

"I think you should call your mom.." Bombay says quietly since he knows I'm not going to agree. "You should call her at least once, you've been gone for a while. Besides your dad only leaves more since you don't let him back..."

"I've been gone for a while? Jesus. She hasn't even been a mom for half my life! I've raised myself, not her." I'm starting to hyperventilate.

"Macy she loves you. All she wants is what's best for you!" Bombay tries to get me to calm down.

"Love? That's not what love is. After dad left she blamed me. She promised she would never do anything to hurt me! She did the same thing he did. Why do you think I jumped at the chance to leave? I can tell you right now, it wasn't to fucking play hockey. She is an unstable person and blames me for everything that's gone wrong in her life. She's an abusive drunk Gordon. I don't know why you always take her side." I get up but Bombay grabs my wrist and pulls me back down. This makes me go into a panic. Bombay realizes what he's done.

"Macy I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." Bombay just puts his head down, he's now crying too. I run out of the house.

"Let her leave Gordon..." Jan seems hurt by seeing me like this.
