Morning came, and with it, the harsh reality of Wonwoo's new life. The sunlight streaming through the curtains felt cold and uninviting, a stark contrast to the warmth of a loving embrace. As he woke up in the empty bed, the sheets cold and undisturbed beside him, Wonwoo felt a pang of loneliness and despair.
Wonwoo looked beside him to see Mingyu's phone , a message popped up.. he got curious so he tried to check the phone suddenly , Wonwoo froze as he felt strong hands grab him and pin him against the wall. He hadn't meant to touch Mingyu's phone, but his curiosity had gotten the better of him.
Mingyu's voice was cold and sharp as he spoke, the words cutting into Wonwoo like a knife. "You're just a tag for a husband," he repeated with a sneer. "You don't have the right to touch my things, so keep your hands to yourself."
Wonwoo's heart raced as he tried to catch his breath, his body pressed firmly against the wall. He could feel Mingyu's breath on his skin, a hot mist that served as a reminder of the power imbalance in their relationship.
He wanted to protest, to defend himself, but the words stuck in his throat. Instead, he just stood there, defeated and humiliated.
Mingyu finally released his grip, and Wonwoo slumped to the floor. He felt small and vulnerable, like a child being scolded by an angry parent.
Mingyu looked down at him, his eyes cold and unfeeling.
"Don't touch my things again," he said sternly. "You have no right to invade my privacy. Remember your place."
Wonwoo saw Mingyu leave the room he opened the drawer beside his bed.. and took his life support his pills and chugged some of it to control himself
JUN POV
As Junhui, Mingyu's younger brother, went about his morning routine, he was abruptly interrupted by the sound of banging on his door.
With a sigh, he made his way towards the door and opened it, only to find Minghao, his sworn enemy and secret rival, standing outside.
"What do you want?" Junhui asked gruffly, trying to hide the slight skip in his heartbeat at the sight of the other boy.
"Where is Wonwoo?" Minghao asked
Junhui crossed his arms and leaned against the doorframe."He's with my brother," he answered. "Why do you need him?"
NO ONES POV
Minghao's face twitched at the mention of Mingyu, a flicker of irritation crossing his face. But he schooled his expression and maintained a cool demeanor.
"I need to talk to him," he replied, his voice flat.Junhui raised an eyebrow, amused by Minghao's attempt to seem unaffected. He knew all too well the feelings that lay hidden beneath the other boy's frosty exterior.
"About what?" he asked, a hint of mockery in his tone.Minghao shifted his weight, suddenly looking uncharacteristically uncomfortable.
"It's none of your business," he snapped, his voice taking on an edge.
Junhui's smirk widened, enjoying the effect he had on the other boy. "Then why are you here?" he asked, his eyes gleaming with amusement.
" I need to deal with some business with my bestfriend" Minghao said while rolling his eyes
" Keep rolling your eyes so you can do it in bed with me" Jun said before taking a towel and leaving as Minghao blushed at
His words , who wouldn't when your 6 years crush said that to you.Minghao brushed off his feeling and went towards Wonwoo's room
Won- Wonwoo !
WONWOO POV
As Wonwoo sat on the floor in a daze, he heard footsteps approaching the room. He looked up to see Minghao walking in, worry etched across his face.
"Wonwoo," Minghao exclaimed. "Are you okay?"Wonwoo blinked, his mind still fuzzy from the pills. He tried to respond, but his voice came out as a croak.
"I-I'm fine," he managed to say, his words slightly slurred. "Just feeling a little light-headed."Minghao wasn't convinced. He knelt down beside Wonwoo, his eyes scanning his face.
"What happened?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. "Are you sick?"Wonwoo shook his head, the gesture feeling sluggish and slow.
"No," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just had to take my meds. I... I lost track of time and took too many."Minghao's face paled at Wonwoo's words, and he reached out to grab his arm, steadying him.
"Again??" he asked, his voice tight with worry. "How many did you take?"Wonwoo looked down at the floor, shame and embarrassment flooding his mind.
"I-I don't know," he muttered, his voice barely audible. "I guess I just... I guess I lost count."
NO ONES POV
A tall broad figure was litsenting to all of this behind the door.
As Mingyu stood outside the door, he couldn't help but overhear the whispered exchange between Minghao and Wonwoo. He felt a twinge of something in his chest, a pang of guilt perhaps, as he listened to the worry in Minghao's voice.
But he quickly pushed the feeling aside, replacing it with a cold detachment.
"Pathetic," he thought to himself. "He can't even manage his own medication."
