It had been a long day for everyone involved, and the tension in the room still lingered even after everyone left. Mingyu stood there, watching Wonwoo’s fragile body lying on the hospital bed. His heart was heavy with guilt and regret, emotions that he had never truly come to terms with. His once strong and confident demeanor was shattered as he replayed the events of the past few weeks in his mind.

He knelt beside Wonwoo’s bed, his eyes tracing the soft contours of Wonwoo's face, illuminated faintly by the dim light of the hospital room. His fingers gently caressed the side of Wonwoo's face, brushing away the stray strands of hair that had fallen over his forehead.

“I’m so sorry, Wonwoo…” Mingyu’s voice cracked as he whispered, his emotions finally getting the better of him. “I should have believed you… I should have trusted you.”

His mind raced back to the moment when Leia had deceived him so effortlessly. He had fallen for her lies, pushing Wonwoo away, leaving him vulnerable and hurting. Mingyu clenched his fists, feeling the anger rise within him again, though this time it was directed at himself. How could he have been so blind? How could he have doubted the one person who had always been there for him?

As he gazed at Wonwoo’s unconscious form, memories of their life together flooded his mind. The laughter, the late-night conversations, the way Wonwoo would smile at him even when things were tough. Mingyu felt a tear escape his eye, rolling down his cheek before dropping onto the sheets.

“If only I had listened to you,” he continued, his voice barely above a whisper. “If only I had loved you the way you deserved…”

He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to Wonwoo’s forehead. It was a small gesture, but in that moment, it was all Mingyu could offer. He felt an overwhelming sense of shame for having let someone like Leia come between them, for hurting the man he loved more than anything in the world.

Meanwhile, in another part of the , Jun and Minghao were sitting quietly in the living room as Minghaowas waiting for his cab . The atmosphere was thick with unease, but there was an undeniable tension between the two that had nothing to do with Wonwoo’s condition.

Minghao’s eyes were fixed on the floor, his fingers idly tracing patterns on his lap. He couldn’t stop thinking about how things had changed between him and Jun. They were no longer just enemies , and it had been obvious to them both for some time now. But there was something unspoken hanging in the air, something that Minghao wasn’t sure how to address.

Jun, on the other hand, was watching Minghao intently, his gaze unwavering. There was a sense of possessiveness in the way Jun looked at him, a silent claim that had been growing stronger with each passing day. He had always known  about  Minghao's one sided love for him  , but now it felt different than just knowing about it . It was something deeper.

“Minghao,” Jun said softly, breaking the silence. His voice held a certain authority, a tone that always made Minghao pay attention.

Minghao glanced up, meeting Jun’s gaze. There was something in Jun’s eyes that made his breath catch—a heat that made his heart race.

“What is it?” Minghao asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

Jun shifted in his seat, leaning closer. His hand reached out, brushing against Minghao’s arm, sending a jolt of electricity through him. Minghao felt his body tense, not out of discomfort, but out of anticipation.

“You know you can talk to me about anything, right?” Jun’s voice was lower now, more intimate.

Minghao swallowed hard. “Yeah, I know…”

Jun’s hand slid up Minghao’s arm, his fingers brushing lightly against the sensitive skin at the back of Minghao’s neck. Minghao shivered, his heart pounding in his chest. He could feel the intensity between them growing, the unspoken desire that had been lingering for so long now bubbling to the surface.

“Then tell me why you’ve been hiding your love for  me,” Jun murmured, his breath ghosting over Minghao’s ear. His fingers tightened slightly, a subtle reminder of the power he held in their dynamic.

Minghao bit his lip , trying to suppress the reaction Jun’s touch and words elicited on  him. “I haven’t been hiding if from  you… I just…” He trailed off, unsure how to put his feelings into words.

Jun smirked, his confidence unwavering. He knew exactly what Minghao was feeling, even if the younger boy couldn’t admit it. “You’re scared to tell , aren’t you?”

Minghao’s breath hitched. “No, I’m not—”

“Liar.” Jun’s voice was teasing, but there was a seriousness beneath it that made Minghao squirm. He moved closer, his body pressing against Minghao’s as he whispered, “You’re scared because you know what’s happening between us… And you know that I’m not going to let you run away from it.”

Minghao’s chest tightened. Jun was right—he *was* scared. Scared of the intensity of his feelings for Jun, scared of what it meant to finally give in to those emotions. He had always prided himself on being strong, independent. But with Jun, it was different. Jun had a way of making him feel vulnerable, exposed.

“I’m not running away…” Minghao’s voice was barely audible.

Jun’s lips curled into a knowing smile. “Good.” He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against Minghao’s neck in a barely-there kiss. “Because I’m not letting you go.”

Minghao closed his eyes, letting out a shaky breath. He could feel Jun’s body pressed against his, the warmth radiating between them. His heart was racing, and he knew there was no point in denying it any longer. He *wanted* this. He wanted Jun.

In a swift motion, Jun pulled Minghao into his lap, his hands gripping the younger boy’s waist possessively. Minghao gasped, but didn’t resist. Instead, he wrapped his arms around Jun’s neck, pulling him closer.

Their lips met in a heated kiss, all the pent-up tension and desire between them finally spilling over. Jun’s hands roamed Minghao’s body, pulling him even closer, while Minghao responded eagerly, losing himself in the moment.

For a few minutes, the rest of the world seemed to fade away. It was just the two of them, lost in each other.

When they finally pulled apart, both of them were breathless, their faces flushed with heat.

“You’re mine, Minghao,” Jun whispered, his voice husky with emotion. “Don’t ever forget that.”

Minghao nodded, his heart racing. “I won’t…”

---

Back in Wonwoo’s  room, Mingyu was still sitting beside the bed, his hand wrapped around Wonwoo’s.

“I don’t deserve you, Wonwoo…” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. “But I’m going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you. I promise.”

As the minutes passed, Mingyu continued to speak softly to Wonwoo, telling him about everything that had happened, everything that he had realized. He begged for Wonwoo’s forgiveness, even though he knew that it wouldn’t come easily.

But Mingyu was determined. He wasn’t going to give up on them, not now, not ever.

“I love you, Wonwoo…” he whispered, pressing another soft kiss to his forehead. “And I’m going to prove it to you every day, unti you accept me..”

And with that, Mingyu settled in for a long night, never leaving Wonwoo’s side, hoping and praying that he would wake up soon.
