Sophie Foster POV
Next thing I knew, we were in the Entrance Hall, ready to go to Hogsmeade.
We all were ready with our plan to find the stone, so I was feeling pretty confident.
"Are we ready, guys?" Asked Harry.
"I mean I guess so," I said. "We all know the outline of the plan. We just don't know exactly how powerful this new recruit is, and what to expect of her."
"Sophie's right," Fitz said. "This girl can be anything. We don't even know if she's a witch or an elf,""Or both," Keefe added on.
"Both?" Asked Tam. "Is that possible?"
"Well," Harry said. "She possibly can be considered a half blood, with one wizard parent and an elf parent,"
"Sure," Said Fitz. "But anyways, we need a way to contact each other incase something happens,"
"Hmm," Said Hermione, thoughtfully. "Maybe we all should just ditch the group at the start, and come back after the tour is over,"
"Good idea," Said Dex. "And if someone's in trouble, they can press their panic switches,"
"Yes," said Linh. "But I'm not sure about-"
Linh was interrupted by a rush of students scrambling to get on the carriages.
"Well," Said Keefe "Let's go!"
* * *
When we got to Hogsmeade, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Flitwick gave everyone a running commentary, as we went from place to place.
"Okay Harry," I said. "I think we can break off now,'
He nodded. "Okay guys," He said. "Let's break off into groups and let's look for that stone,"
I was about to get Hermione as a partner, when someone grabbed my arm. I turned around to see Keefe.
"Foster," He said. "You are with me,"
I sighed. "Sure," I said. "Lets go,"
After sneaking off into the open, away from the rest of the school, Me and Keefe began to search.
We searched in every place possible, ran into other groups, almost got caught by Professor Flitwick, and even tried using the summoning spell, until we started looking around the Shrieking Shack...
"Foster," Called Keefe, "I've got an idea,"
"Tell me," I said, walking towards him.
"Well," He said. "It's not that good, and I don't think it will work but..."
"Just tell me Keefe, I'm sure it will be fine,"
"Okay," he said. "So my idea is that you concentrate very hard and like, see if your can sense magical energy anywhere nearby, and use that to find the stone,"
"Hmm," I thought. "Maybe.."
I closed my eyes and opened my mind up to the world. A rush of energy came over me like a wave, and suddenly, I could feel something. I little sliver of magic, pulsing somewhere nearby.
"I can feel it," I breathed. "Follow me,"
I opened my eyes and led the way, the magic feeling stronger every step. Soon enough I pushed my way into a small clearing.
"Woah," I said, as I stepped inside.
"Wow," Said Keefe.
The clearing just emanated magic and majestic beauty. The flowers were in all the colors on the spectrum, leaf filled vines covering the sides, with blue green grass covering the ground. It looked like it was straight out of a fairytale.
