Chapter Eighteen: Back with Even More Questions

Harry Potter POV

Right after I dropped Biana and Linh off at the Hospital wing with Di's help, I quickly thanked her and Madame Pomfrey, and raced off to the East Wing, where Sophie had told me to meet them.

But when I got there, I saw all of the group, outside the Library, with Tam trying to console a girl who I didn't recognize, who was shouting and looking very disturbed, as the others were just a few steps behind them, sharing concerned looks.

Trying not to interrupt the drama though, I entered the cluster of my friends, and nudged Ron.

"What's going on?" I whispered.

"This girl is that light girl Glimmer," He explained. "She was kidnapped, but now abandoned here with us,"

"Oh," I said.

Abandoned? I thought.

"She was messing with my head!"exclaimed Glimmer. "I couldn't get her out!"

"Glimmer," said Tam, trying to sound reassuring. "You're safe from Bellatrix and Gisela now. But what happened?"

"She took it over!" Said Glimmer, clutching her head.

"Maybe we should take her to the Hospital Wing?" whispered Hermione.

"I don't know," I said.

Wait. I thought suddenly, as a realization hit me. Diana said something just like this when she stole the stone, I looked up at the trembling form of Glimmer, and then glued my eyes to the floor.

"Glimmer," said Sophie, stepping in. "You'll be okay. It's fine."

She looked at Tam, and after a few seconds, Tam nodded, as if they were speaking in a silent language.

Wait. I forgot. She can communicate with people using her mind. I thought as Tam said: "Come, on Glimmer, let's go to the Hospital Wing," and led her down the halls. He glanced back once, then disappeared down the corner.

"Harry," said Sophie as she spotted me. "You're back,"

"Yeah," I said. "But what happened here?"

"Glimmer was left here by the Neverseen and the Deatheaters," said Fitz. "And Tam told us that Bellatrix and Glimmer were arguing, and soon enough, Bellatrix put the Crucio spell on her,"

"Oh, wow," I said. "But do you all have any idea why she's acting like that?"

"No clue," said Keefe. "But I'm sure she doesn't usually act like this,"

"Yeah," said Sophie.

"The reason I asked was because before Diana decided to Crucio Biana, she said something similar," I said. "She said that she was messing with her mind, and that she killed someone,"

"But," said Hermione. "What does that mean?"

"Hmm," said Sophie. "Maybe she is Gisela or Bellatrix?"

"Sure," I said. "That's possible. But then what did she mean by messing with her head and stuff?"

"Maybe they were controlled!" said Ron.

"Yes," agreed Hermione. "Using Imperio,"

"Does Imperio come with a side effect of creepy white eyes?" I asked.
