Chapter Ten: All Hail Keefe's Awesomeness

Sophie Foster POV:

We waited until 12:00 to put our plan into action.

As soon as we entered the common room, it seemed like the entire house was there, with everyone talking at once.

"I can't believe it,"

"Will our tests be canceled?"

"When will the repairs finish?"

"It's the Elves!"

I winced as I heard the last one.

Do they actually think it was the elves? I transmitted to Fitz.

I hope not. Fitz transmitted back.

"Hey-no telepathic conversations, you two," Keefe teased, "or I'll have to assume-"

"Do not finish that sentence!" Fitz scolded.

Keefe laughed.

I sighed.

"Keefe," I said, "Let's go to our dorm now. We're going to have a long night,"

"Okay," Keefe said, "Bye, Foster, see you at midnight,"

"Bye," I said back to him.

As soon as they left, I looked around just to see that the trio was on the other side of the common room, talking to another Gryffindor.

"Hey, guys," I said as I walked to them.

"Hey, Sophie," Said Harry. "Meet Seamus, a fellow Gryffindor,"

"Hey," He said.

"Hi," I replied. "So what are you all talking about?"

"I'm just telling them about how Professor Dumbledore had to leave Hogwarts suddenly ," Said Seamus.

"What?" I asked. "Why?"

"He had to go do something urgent," Hermione explained.

"That's weird," I said. "What could be that urgent?"

"We don't know," Ron said.

After a little while, Seamus had retreated to his dorm and the common room was almost empty.

Will they attack again?

Did Professor Dumbledore put more protection spells on Hogwarts before he left?

Are we safe?

I was full of questions, but had no answers.

Midnight came faster than expected, and soon enough, me, Harry, Ron, Hemione, Fitz and Keefe were in the common room, with our wands, the Invisibility cloak, and the Marauders Map.

"So here's the plan," Fitz said.

We all looked at him

"Do we even have a plan?" Keefe asked.

"Uh, yeah," Fitz said. "We are not going to just aimlessly walk around the school, expecting to find this map that we happen to know is in possession of Snape,"

"I guess so," I agreed.

"Fair enough," Keefe said, shrugging.

"So," Harry said. "The plan?"
