The next morning, when Sophie had just had time to pour herself a cup of hot coffee and eat buttered toast, her phone rang. Rachel's name popped up on the screen, and Sophie quickly pressed the answer button.

- Rachel! - Sophie exclaimed, her voice full of joy. - How are you? Are you in Chicago yet?

- Sophie! Yes, we're already here," Rachel's familiar voice sounded tired but joyful. - We just moved into our new home. The move was exhausting, but we made it through. Alex is already in the office and Samantha and I are unpacking.

- New house? - Sophie was surprised. - What a surprise! I thought you were staying in a hotel.

- No, we decided to move into our house right away," Rachel explained. - Alex took care of everything in advance. We have a spacious house with a garden, just what we need. Sam is so excited, she's already running through the rooms and choosing her bedroom.

Sophie couldn't hide her joy:- It's wonderful, Rachel! The perfect place for a new life. I'm so happy for you! How's Sam?

- She's absolutely thrilled. You know, she's about to turn 7 and she can't wait for her birthday. And by the way, I have one more piece of news," Rachel said with a smile in her voice. - We've decided that Sam is going to go to your school. She's going to be in your class!

- Really? - Sophie's surprise was replaced by joy. - That's wonderful. I can't wait to meet her. We're going to have a great time together.

- Yes, and I hope it will help her get used to the new place," Rachel added. - We're still getting to know the city, but we're already making ourselves at home here.

- Let's meet tonight and celebrate your return? - Sophie suggested. - A walk or dinner?

- I'd love to," Rachel agreed. - Let's meet at an Italian restaurant in the center, it's so beautiful there. Samantha will be able to visit her grandmother at that time.

- All right! Five o'clock?

- That's fine. Thank you, Sophie. I've missed you and our meetings so much.

- Me too, Rachel," Sophie said warmly. - See you later!

Sophie ended the conversation, feeling her heart fill with happiness. With Rachel's return and the news that little Sam would be in her class, life seemed even more full and joyful.
