I woke up in my own room, I had walked miles back to my house, I had a killer headache.
I lay down on my bed and wished for death as this hangover headache washed over my body, I could feel everything down in my bones.
I then heard the phone ring, and it just made my headache worse, i groaned in pain and rolled out out of bed. I'm dragging myself to the phone.
I then opened my door and saw that my dad wasn't in the house, I went over to the phone, and I answered it, making a satisfying click.
"Hopper residence, Y/n speaking.." I say in a groggy voice.
I was not in the mood to talk to anyone, but the familiar voice rang through the phone, and it was Nancy.
"Y/n, hey..it's Nancy, did you leave with Barb?" Nancy asked me.
I was still mad at Nancy for peer pressuring Barb into drinking and acting like a jerk last night.
"No, me and Barb had a fight, and I left myself..why is she not with you?" I ask Nancy.
I then heard silence, I stood there waiting for an answer.
"You know what.. I think she's at school, I'll just.. I'm sorry for calling. I'll see you at school," Nancy said, hanging up the phone.
I then placed the phone back on the landline and rolled my eyes.
"Not likely." I say, walking away from the landlines.
I was not going to school with this killer hangover.
I started making a greasy breakfast for myself, the smell of grease and food filling the air, I was then looking through the cabinets to find any medication.
I then decided..what the heck, let's go to school. Dad would kill me anyway if i didn't go.
I walked through the halls of Hawkins high school, I was wearing sunshades, wearing a blue hoodie, and some baggie jeans, I didn't bother with any makeup.
Everyone was looking at me, probably because I'm the cheifs daughter or something, or maybe Steve told everyone about his party and how he got laid by Nancy.
I then went over to my locker and started to get my books, I then look over at my mirror and take off my sunglasses and grimace at myself, I had bags under my eyes, and I looked terrible.
I then looked over to my right and saw Nancy. She looked sheepish like she had something to hide.
I didn't bother to talk to her, I was still holding a grudge about how she treated Barb. I then heard a loud SLAM.
It was Steve Harrington, slamming Nancy's locker door more open and stood beside her.
They talked about something, and I couldn't even bother to listen, I was too invested in this headache I had.
They then kissed, and Steve walked away, and I watched him walk away. Now, I regret not listening in on their conversation.
Nancy had a smile on her face after Steve kissed her, and she then noticed my presence. And walked over to me.
I placed my sunglasses back on and started getting my books, still ignoring her.
"Y/n, come on..don't give me the silent treatment." Nancy begged me.
I closed my locker shut and walked away, Nancy followed me and stayed by my left side.
"Y/n, come on, I'm sorry, okay, I shouldn't have done that. Treat you and Barb that way." She apologized.
