Uptown Girl (A stranger things Story)

Chapter Six: The Monster pt:1

Me and Johnathan have been searching for Nancy.

"NANCY!" I yelled.

Jonathan yelled soon after. My heart was racing. I refuse to lose another friend.. I can't lose another friend. Especially not Nancy.

  "Nancy!" I screamed again, shining my flashlight in every direction I could.

  "Where are you?!" Johnathan shouts.

I was panting, damn near having a panic attack. My heart was going 50 miles an hour. The cold fall air hitting me like a ton of bricks. Instead of being cold... I was sweating like a pig, trying my best to find Nancy.

  I then hear her shout.

"Johnathan!, Y/n!," She shouts from a distance.

I start darting towards her screams.

"Nancy!?!" I shout again.

It was an endless game of Marco polo at this point, a game I didn't even want to be a part of.

  "Nancy!" He shouts again, his heavy breathing filling the deathly silence.

"I can hear her, Johnathan sbe better not die. If she does, I swear I'll kill that thing, and then I'll kill you for making her have the idea to hunt it!" I shout at him with venom in my voice.

He gave me a nervous stare. He knew I meant every word I said.

"I won't let her die... she won't. You have my word," he says.

  I stand my ground, sizing him up.

"That's my best friend, your word means Jack, nothing to me right now, until she's safe and breathing in front of me. I'll believe your sorry ass, " I said with venom in my voice.

  He then quickly goes back to finding Nancy, calling her name out into the wilderness. It didn't take long for me to do the same.

"Johnathan, Y/n!, where are you!!" She shouted in a distance.

She was so close, I know she was. Where is Nancy.

  "Dont you dare stop screaming!" I shouted. I'm trying to locate where she was at.

  "I'm right here!" She shouts again.

I am close by Johnathan, I grip the wooden handle of my axe with a death grip.

"We're right here!" He shouts at Nancy. Shining his flashlight at the night atmosphere that's covering the forest.

   "Y/n!" She screeches.

I then leave Johnathan and run like hell towards the sound of my best friends voice.

"I'm coming Nancy!, don't you dare stop screaming!" I shouted.

All you could hear was the sound of crunching leaves that was being trampled by me. My boots meeting the Cole fall ground and loud crunches of fall leaves.

Johnathan ran behind me, but I was beating him by a few good feet. Nothing was stopping me from getting to Nancy, I refused to lose another friend.

I won't.

   "Just follow my voice, Nancy!" I screeched.

After a while of shouting and screeching for Nancy. I hear a loud growl.

"No!" I shouted, running faster.

My feet were aching, and I was still running like hell. That monster found Nancy, and I swear if he lands a finger or claw on her, I will burn the whole world down.
