The bike trip was a shirt distance to Lucas's house.

I rode on the back of Dustin's bike as we soared through the road in the late fall month.

We finally made it to the medium-sized blue house.

We quickly got off our bike. Mike and Dustin helped me off and helped me walk since my leg was basically chow food.

We stood before the tan colored door. And we rang the doorbell, which I always thought it was a pleasing sound.

Then, as we waited a few moments, the door opened, revealing Lucas with a sour and annoyed expression on his face.

"What do you want?" He asked, annoyed at us.

I crossed my arms as I leaned on his door frame for support.

"You okay?" He asks.

"Yeah, just a bike accident," I lied.

Mike stood there awkwardly, not really wanting to speak with Lucas until Dustin smacked his arm, urging him to continue.

"I drew first blood, so..." he says, trailing off, extending his hand,

Lucas looked at the extended hand for him to shake. He had a bemused look. If I were him, I wouldn't want to shake it either.

"Can we come in?" I ask him nicely.

He quickly looked at me and looked at my injured leg, and nodded slowly, still an annoyed expression on his face he agreed to let us in.

He paced his living room, to his window all the way to where I stood, leaning on Dustin for support.

Deep in thought about agreeing to accept Mike's apology.

With hands in his pockets, he stopped and stood before us.

" Okay, I'll shake." He agreed, crossing his arms over his chest.

Mike quickly extends his hand for Lucas to shake.

"On one condition." Lucas adds on.

Me and Dustin looked at each other, knowing this won't end good at all.

"We forget the weirdo and go straight to the gate," Lucas adds on.

"Then the deal is off." Mike refused.

"Fine!" Lucas shouted his arms thrown in exaggeration.

"Fine!" Mike yelled.

"No, no, not fine!, guys, seriously!?" Dustin yelled.

I leaned off of dustin, and I grabbed Lucas and Mike.

"Look at me, boys, are you two toddlers?" I ask.

They both lower their heads down.

"If I wanted to babysit toddlers, I would have babysat holly. Quit acting like yall don't have sense, " I say, wracking their heads.

"Do you even remember what happened on the bloodstone pass?" Dustin asked.

Mike looked at Lucas to see if Dustin knew what he was talking about, and none of us did.

Mike shrugged his shoulders as Dustin looked at us, shocked that we didn't remember what had happened on a bloodstone pass.

He sighed.

"We couldn't agree on what path to take, so we split up the party, and those trolls took us out one by one. And it all went to shit and we were all disabled!" He shouted, getting worked up.
