Author's POV:
"I think I should go check on her. She might need me," Y/N said, her voice concerned. She quickly turned and made her way back to the classroom, where Meiling sat, looking like she was on the verge of a full meltdown. Y/N rushed over, gently patting her back, and Meiling looked up with wide, panicked eyes.
"I totally messed up, didn't I? I wasn't ready to meet him yet!" Meiling blurted, her voice trembling as she teetered on the edge of tears.
"Meiling, you didn't mess up. I should've remembered how nervous you were," Y/N said softly, offering a comforting smile. She wasn't going to let Meiling spiral like this. Not today.
Meiling as in full-blown panic mode. Her crush on Taehyung wasn't just your average schoolgirl thing—it was huge. The last time she had confessed her feelings to someone, it had ended in complete disaster, and she had never quite recovered. Seeing Taehyung up close like that had stirred up all those old anxieties, and now she was a wreck.
"Okay, Meiling, listen to me," Y/N said firmly, crouching down so she was eye-level with her. "Look at me. Just breathe slowly, okay? In... out... In... out... Now, drink some water." She handed Mei Ling a water bottle and watched as her friend shakily sipped, trying to calm herself.

Jungkook's POV:
What in the world just happened? This day kept getting stranger by the minute.
"You forgot to introduce me, bunny," Taehyung teased, nudging me with his elbow and giving me his signature pout. The pout. The one that made everyone fold.
"Oh! Sorry about that, Hyung. Those girls are my new classmates. They were just showing me around," I said, trying to act normal even though my mind was still racing. Everything felt... off.
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, studying me. "You seem a bit weird today, Jungkook. What's up?"
I hesitated for a second. "Hyung, remember that dream I told you about? The one with the girl I kept seeing?" I said, glancing around to make sure no one else was listening. "I think I met her today."
"What? Jungkook, come on, that was just a dream," Taehyung said, skeptical as always.
"No, I'm serious. And I think her best friend looks like someone from that same dream," I insisted, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Bunny, are you sure you're not just confusing things? Who remembers a face from a dream for three years?" Taehyung asked, crossing his arms, but his expression was softer now, like he was trying to reassure me.
I wanted to agree with him, but something didn't sit right with me. "You're probably right, Hyung," I said, forcing a laugh. "It's just a coincidence."
But deep down? Deep down, I knew there was more to this.

Author's POV:
After a few deep breaths, Meiling finally started to relax. Y/N smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over her as Meiling's breathing returned to normal.
"Feeling better now?" Y/N asked, keeping her voice gentle.
"Yeah, I'm good. Sorry for freaking out like that," Meiling mumbled, her face flushing with embarrassment.
"Don't even worry about it," Y/N said, linking arms with her. "Let's head back, okay?"
They walked together back toward Jungkook and Taehyung, Meiling still holding onto Y/N's arm like it was her lifeline.
"Everything okay?" Jungkook asked as soon as they were in sight, his expression slightly concerned.
"Yeah, we're all good," Y/N reassured him, smiling. "Thanks for waiting."
"Oh, by the way, Hyung, these are my classmates—Y/N and Meiling," Jungkook finally said, remembering to introduce them properly this time.
Taehyung flashed his trademark grin. "Hey Y/N, hey Meiling. Sorry I can't stay and chat—I gotta run to the cafeteria. My friends are probably waiting for me," he said, giving a quick wave before turning to leave.
"Okay, bye Oppa," Y/N and Meiling chimed together, though Y/N could feel Meiling's grip tighten on her hand as Taehyung walked away.

Y/N's POV:
With Taehyung gone, Jungkook and I continued the tour around the school, wandering through the hallways as I pointed out different places. I could tell he was listening, but something was definitely on his mind. Every so often, I'd catch him glancing at me, like he was trying to figure something out.
"What?" I asked after one of those long, thoughtful glances, feeling my curiosity get the better of me.
He blinked, startled that I'd caught him. "Uh, nothing. Just thinking."
I wasn't buying it, but I let it slide. There was this strange feeling lingering between us, like we were both waiting for something to happen, but neither of us knew what it was. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to Jungkook than just being the new kid at school.
"Hey, if you ever need help getting around or whatever, just let me know," I said, trying to break the tension.
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," he replied, but his voice was distant, his mind clearly somewhere else.
I glanced at him again, wondering what he was thinking.
