Another announcement would sound:
Announcement ~ Be ready to enter the hall in 5 minutes.
Before repeating once more.
G. and Damon would look at each other, neither of them were really dressed for the event.
G - "What do you think we'll be doing in the hall-?"
D - "Dancing. Definitely dancing."
Neither G. nor Damon seemed too pleased about that. It wasn't just going to be any dancing - it was ballroom dancing. Additionally they knew they'd look pretty weird doing it in their attire.
For the meantime, they'd continue to talk, about what songs they liked, comics and any similar interests of theirs until the five minutes were up and another announcement came on.
Announcement ~ The hall doors will now be opening, please enter with your pair.
And then repeat again, like previously.
G. stood up and offered Damon her hand, at which he got a bit embarrassed at but still took it into his own and stood up with her. They decided to enter with the crowd so they wouldn't be first nor last and stood close to the side of what turned out to be a giant ballroom.
After everyone had entered and the door closed back up the music would start to play - making them both realise - neither of them knew how to dance.
