Nova:Aww, the poor angel got hurt. It would've been over much quicker if you didn't struggle...but I'm not gonna lie. The struggle makes it sooo much more delicious in the end.
Ezekiel made another light spear, then used it to prop himself up. Nova chuckled, then licked her lips.
Nova:I like a meal with some fight in it. You're gonna taste delectable after I-
Nova lunged to the side as Annabelle's tail just barely missed her. Nova looked back and saw Annabelle snarling at her while the Lake of Fire turned purple. The flames rose up into a massive pillar while Kane hopped out in his Crucible Form.
Kane:Hey, Nova! We weren't done yet.
Nova:*laughs*Woooah. That's new.
Anna:*growls*
Nova:Yeah, yeah. I get it. You're protective of Blondie...but to be honest, Smoky, you shouldn't do anything. You juuust might crisp everyone up for me.
Kane:Try me, lady.
Nova:*giggles*You seem a looot stronger than before. You just might be a fun fight now.
Nova took a step towards Kane but stopped as a spear shot towards her. Nova ducked underneath it, then grabbed it before throwing it back at Abigail at shocking speeds, piercing her through the stomach with it. Abigail shrieked, falling to her knees as the spear disappeared. She clutched her stomach, and Nova laughed before turning around to see all of the fire from the Lake lashing towards her. Nova tilted her head, then saw Kane launch out from the flames before grabbing her face and slamming her into the ground. All of the fire started flowing into Kane, making him breathe heavily while Nova tore at his flesh.
Kane:You...do not. touch. ABBY!
Nova:Aww, did I hurt your girlfriend, Smoky? Is someone throwing a tantrum?
Kane:That's it, I'm incinerating you!
Nova:Try me, dipshit! I'm immune to... to uh...hm. Actually, I do feel a bit toasty now.
Kane:Just you fucking wait! I'll take every damn ember from the Lake, then shove it down your-
Nova pushed her arm through Kane's chest, her nails digging into his heart. Kane twitched and went limp for a moment, making the fire slowly go back towards the Lake. Kane lit up his hand again, which made Nova squeeze his heart, causing Kane to punch her.
Nova:Alright, Smoky. I'll admit, that was pretty fun. You almost had me pinned for a moment...buuut almost still means ya didn't. Now, how about I crush this thing and get back to my meal?
Kane:You...y-you-
Nova:Wasn't really asking, Smoky.
Anna:A-A...Abby...Abby! Abby, Abby, Abby!
Kane:F-Fucking pull it together, Anna! She'll get to-OGHH!
Nova:Hey now, don't spoil the fun...I see my dessert's passed out. That sucks... buuut I'll gladly taste yo-
Lilith:N-Nova?!
Nova:...Mama?
Nova looked over and saw Lilith staring back at her. Lilith looked around at the state of everyone, then ran over to Abigail, who was sobbing while Annabelle clutched onto her.
Lilith:A-Abigail, are you alright?!
Abby:I..I-I...it hurts. It hu-hu-huuurts.
Lilith:I-It's okay. It's gonna be alright. That Mist thing will heal you right up... right?
Kane:A-A little...help...*groans*
Lilith:My boy!..Nova, did you do all of this?!
Nova:...M-Mama. I-I was...I-I didn't-
Lilith:Nova, you hurt them!
Nova:I-I was just playing, Mama!..and a bit hungry.
Kane:Heart...hurts.
Lilith:Nova, put him down!
Nova let go of Kane, then stepped away from him while fidgeting with her fingers. Lilith stomped up to her daughter, then grabbed her by the horn.
Lilith:Nova Morningstar! After all these years, you still don't listen to me?!
Nova:I-I was-
Lilith:Don't you talk back to me, miss! I can understand you being mad at your father, but I have done nothing to you!
Nova:I-I know you haven't, Mama! I just-
Lilith:Just what?! Try torturing and trying to eat the first people you meet?!
Kane:B-Bea...po...*groans*
Bea:I-I'll be there in a moment! Abby, are you-
Abby:I'm fine! G-Go...I-I'm sorry. Go help Kane and Zeke.
Bea:*nods furiously*
Lilith:I...I always tried my best to make Lucifer treat you better, sweetheart. You know I tried my best to give you a good upbringing...but this, this?! These kids are our guests! That boy you ripped apart is your new brother! You hurt the most innocent girl I've ever met! What the actual fuck caused you to become like this, Nova?!
