Fate’s body was on the ground, his eyes still staring up at the sky, his breathing ceased. Blood coated the pavement and his body, and the spear was still embedded in his stomach.
If anyone had been there, they could have heard the sharp inhale of someone breathing. The specific someone was Fate. His eyes blinked, and he looked down at his impaled form, tilting his head in curiosity. He quickly wrapped his hands around the spear and ripped it out of him, not giving any reaction that that had caused him pain.
Fate stood up, surveying his surroundings, a scowl slowly stretching on his bloody face. His eyes were burning with a rage so passionate that he began to glow. The stomach wound slowly knitted itself together, now completely healed. The blood remained, however, and he looked like quite a sight to behold.
“I will find you, Nadia Wolfe. I will hunt you to the ends of the Earths, and when I finally come upon you, I will make you watch as I kill everyone you’ve ever loved. And then, once that task is complete, I will stab you through the heart. And this time, THIS TIME, I will succeed.” His bellowing screams of anger and rage echoed throughout the loop, and he bent down to pick up the spear. “This will be the instrument used to kill you and your loved ones. Once and for all.”
Fate’s scowl turned into a smile, and he slammed the spear down onto the ground, his surroundings exploding into light. When the dust settled, he was nowhere to be found.
