That escalated quickly

He turned to me and slowly brought his face closer to mine. His eyes moved from my eyes, to my lips, to my eyes again. When our lips connected, I felt butterflies fly around my stomach and my heart did a backflip in my chest.

His lips we soft and welcoming. He put his hands on my cheek and I forced my lips closer to his. My hands found their way to his soft, curly hair and only I could hear the slight groan that left his throat.

Our friends started cheering and clapping and I could hear Matthew whistling.

"Jesus, okay guys let's keep things PG 13" James yelled over the cheering.

And at that, we broke apart. A small part of me wishes we weren't with our friends. Would he keep going? Would he confess his feelings while 'Fade into you' by Mazzy Star plays in the back?

Wow. That escalated quickly.

As his face moved slowly away from mine, his eyes never left mine. His cheeks were a light red, while my whole face felt as if it was one fire.

"Can I say I told you so yet, or?" Matt leaned back in his chair while taking a sip of his Coke. Well I think it's Coke.

"Shut up, Matthew!" Veronica, playfully pushed him while his face was plastered with a wide grin.

"Shutting up, Ronnie"

I'm pretty sure I saw a light blush cover her cheeks.

he brought his mouth to my ear and whispered, "if everyone wasn't here, I'd kiss you a 3rd time." 

"Something to share with the class, Jones?" James asked.

"nope, sorry sir." He laughed, that genuine laugh. With dimples and all.

Suddenly, the sound of a phone buzzing filled the room.

"It's me guys!" Ethan stood up and took out his phone from his jacket on the couch.

"Uhm.."

"Everything okay?" I asked

He lifted his face from his phone and smiled at me.
"Yeah"

I smiled back.

Ethan sat back beside me on the chair, before placing his arm on the couch behind me Almost as if he was putting his arm around my shoulder-

Keyword: almost.

-and everyone looked at him.

"What?"

"It's your turn, bud." Matt reminded

"oh right, uhm.." he looked around the room intently and his eyes landed on Lisa.

"Lisa. Truth or dare?"

"Dude she asked you" Matt intervened "you can't-"

"Truth." Lisa face was solemn as she made eye contact with Ethan.

Something 100% going on, and it looks like I'm not the only one who sees it. Besides Ronnie, she's sketching in her notepad.
