Damon and Elena had decided to go together to go collect Jeremy from Denver now that Klaus knew where he was, and it wasn't safe for him anymore. Stefan was busy with Alaric trying to figure out where his alter ego hid the last white oak stake, Rebekah was busy planning a decade dance and Tori was busy avoiding all of them. She was still angry at her brothers for hiding their plans from her, and at Rebekah for kidnapping her brother and holding him hostage for fun. She had decided to go out of town, meet an old friend of hers that she hadn't talked to in a while. She had drove a couple towns over and hung out with her friend Alex all night, letting loose and dancing all her problems away. The two girls had become friends in the 50's. Tori was not in the best of moods, and Alex had cheered her up effortlessly, just as she had done today. She was currently at the bar, ordering another round for the two when a guy had approached her. A little rough looking, long hair, but very nice muscles.
"Can I buy you a drink?" He asked, grinning.
"No thanks, already bought myself one." She said, gesturing to the glasses the bartender had set down in front of her. She picked them up, about to head back to her table when he stepped in front of her.
"Oh, come on. Don't be like that. One drink." He tried to persuade.
"I said no, now beat it." She wasn't in the mood for guys who don't understand when to back off.
"Bitch." He scoffed, before walking away back to his friends.
"Asshole." She called out after him. God, why are guys such jerks. A girl rejects them and they can't handle it. She ignored the foul man, having fun with Alex instead, enjoying a peaceful night away from all the pain and the drama back in Mystic Falls. Away from Klaus and the stupid feelings he evoked, away from Scott and the guilt she felt everytime she thought about him, away from her brothers and their lies and secrets.
Tori had just left the bar, after Alex had gone home back to her boyfriend, and was ready to head back to that tragic town she called home, when she heard a girl crying in the alley. Slowly walking towards it, she saw the same guy from the bar trying to force himself on a girl. She was crying for him to stop and trying to pull away but he was a lot stronger than her and his grip wasn't giving.
"She told you to stop." Tori revealed herself.
"Listen, bitch, this is none of your business. Go back inside." The man tried to dismiss her. That only pissed her off more.
Walking towards him she grabbed his arm, twisting it back in an unnaturally position and when he cried out, kneeling in pain, she told the girl. "Go."
She smiled when the girl ran, glad she could help. Being a vampire usually meant death and pain, but sometimes when she helped someone, it made her feel human again. Lost in her own thoughts, she wasn't paying enough attention to the guy and she clearly underestimated his strength as he managed to push her back, her head hitting the brick wall of the alley.
"Ow." She growled, immediately standing back up and punching his face, kicking him down straight after. He jumped up, choking her and shoving her against the wall.
"You should've just minded your own business." He growled, before swinging at her. He managed to get the side of her head, but she pushed back, using a lot of strength. This guy was surprisingly strong. She grabbed his jacket and threw him across the wall, walked towards him and forced him to look in her eyes.
"Don't move, don't make a single sound." But her compulsion didn't work which caught her off guard and he managed to punch her, kicking her stomach so she fell to the ground.
