Phelan tried his best to push through the exodus of people packed tightly together on the street. He eventually made his way to a break in the mass of people so he could get his bearings.
Phelan: Okay, if I were a wizard obsessed with creatures and chaos, where would I be?
It was at this moment that a loud ringing of an alarm emanating from the Steen National Bank just across the street.
Phelan: I'd be causing chaos in a Muggle bank. Of course.
Out of the corner of his eye, Phelan had spotted the glint of an apparition on his side of the street. He quickly ran to try and catch it but by the time he had turned the corner into the alleyway, any trace of the wizard or wizards behind it was gone.
Phelan: Alright, this is going to be harder than expected.
Phelan reached into his inner coat pocket and pulled out his wand. He then waved it in a circular motion around him as he spoke the incantation.
Phelan: Appare Vestigium.
A swirl of gold was summoned forth and revealed the trace of a second apparition away from the alley. The golden swirls then formed a line traced along the floor, supposedly in an attempt to take Phelan to the place that this wizard had apparated to. He placed his wand back in his pocket and followed along.

After a long and strenuous task of making his way through crowds of Muggles, the golden trace had finally come to an end just outside the Woolworth Building.
Phelan: Interesting. Very interesting.
He looked around for any trace of magic that he could follow. That was until he took notice of the doorman at the side door of the Woolworth building. To his knowledge there was no need for the second door to be guarded, that was until he saw the wand poking out of the inside of the doorman's jacket. It was then that he realized that this must be the new headquarters for MACUSA, the Americans' version of the Ministry of Magic who had recently moved their operations from Washington to New York. Phelan approached the man.
Phelan: Good evening.
Doorman: Hello, sir, how may I help you?
Phelan: I need to get in there.
Doorman: Well, sir, if you go ahead and use the door to your right-
Phelan: No, not in there. In here. Through this door.
Doorman: May I see some identification please, sir?
Phelan took his Ministry badge out of his pocket and showed him.
Phelan: British Ministry of Magic. Now, if you don't mind, I believe you recently took in a British wizard. We'd like him back.
Doorman: That'll be Tina Goldstein's mistake. Upstairs and to your right, you'll find the front desk, you can ask for him there.
The doorman then opened the entrance for Phelan.
Phelan: Thank you very much.
Phelan entered the building and into the MACUSA lobby to see the gilded walls and floors, not quite as impressively built as the Ministry's headquarters however that was to be expected seeing as the building had only opened a few years ago. He made his way to the receptionist's desk and rang the bell. A goblin then appeared behind the desk, however he didn't quite reach the height of the desk and as such only his eyes were in view.
Balgok: How may I help you, sir?
Phelan: Right, I am here to find a wizard that I believe to have been brought here.
