CHAPTER NINE

DARYLL'S POV

I feel so excited and nervous when I get up in bed to see Aidan. I didn't know how he would react but I am so longing to hold him in my arms. I went out the door and looked for him, until I heard the sweetest voice I have ever heard in my life.

"Daddy??!". Aidan shouted behind me.

"Aidan my son! come here!". I said as I opened his arms to him. Aidan ran excitedly towards me and gave me the warmest hug. I buried my head on Aidan's neck as I stood up and carried him while we were still hugging each other.

"My Daddy Is here!". He said while he turned to face me.

"Yes baby! I'm here... and you'll see me often from now on". I said while smiling at him.

"Really? Yey! I love you Daddy!!". He said and hugged me again. My heart melted when I heard those words from Aidan.

"I love you too baby!". I did while kissing his forehead.

"Let's play Daddy! c'mon". He said while he hands his toy to me.

"Later baby, you both haven't eaten yet. Pasok muna kayo sa loob at kumain muna". Isabelle said. Aidan's face turned sad quickly and I noticed it.

"Don't worry baby, well play the whole day after eating okay? Let's go inside so Mommy won't get mad". I whisphered to him.

"Woah!! really Daddy! okay!". Aidan said. We went straight inside the kitchen and ate together. Aidan sits beside me right away without hesitation. Aidan and I were the happiest. Aidan wouldn't stop sharing stories with me about his playmates, while me on the other hand enjoys listening to him.

Aidan and I were sitting on the sofa when Isabelle thought of taking a picture of us so we smiled at the camera and I'll send it to our group chat.

"Bros". I said and sent out a picture.

["Woah! Aidan looks so much like you. I'm happy for you"]. Troy replied.

["It's nice to see Aidan happy. I hope you spend more time with him Daryll. He's been longing for you ever since"]. Charles replied.

"I definitely will Charles. I'm planning to take a break from work, so I could be with Aidan and Isabelle". I replied.

["Oh really? but will your agency allow that?"]. Troy asked.

"Even if they don't, I will still do it. This is the first time I felt this kind of joy, so I won't let them stop me". I replied.

["Have you also worked things out with Isabelle"]. Charles asked.

"Not yet. She's still hesitant about us, but I understand her and I'll do my best to win her heart back". I replied.

"[Great, I hope things will give smoothly with the three of you. I'm really happy for you bro."]. Charles replied.

"Thank you Charles. Let's catch up soon bro". I replied.

["Looking forward to that"]. He replied.

Aidan and I were inseparable that day. Isabelle let us bind together while she was doing some editing in her studio.

"Daddy? Are you leaving later? Can you stay here with us? Why do you have to live in another house? My playmates live in the same house with their Mommy and Daddy". Aidan said to me. Charles was right. Aidan is a smart kid. How could a 3 years old think of those things?.

"Hmm Daddy will have settled things in Seoul first and once I am back, Mommy and I will talk about that". I said.

"But I don't want you to go home later, can you stay here tonight?". He said.

"I would love that too baby but we'll have to ask Mommy first". I said while smiling at him.

"Let's ask her then! c'mon!". Aidan pulled me and went to Isabelle's studio. Seems like he's got her Mom's stubbornness huh?!. But I won't deny that I live to stay here though, thanks to Aidan I got an excuse.

"Mommy!!". Aidan shouted that he entered Isabelle's studio with me behind him.

"Yes baby?". Isabelle said.

"Can Daddy stay here for another night, please? I want to play more with him and I want to sleep beside him, please Mommy". Aidan said eagerly at Isabelle. Isabelle looks curiosly at me who's smiling widely at her.

"Hmm? don't you have work?". She asked me.

"I don't, and I also have to talk to you about that later". I said.

"Ohh? Alright then, Daddy will be staying here tonight". She said and smiled at Aidan.

"Thank you Mommy!". Aidan said and jumped out of joy that made Isabelle and I laugh.

It was 9 pm when Aidan fell asleep on his bed with me beside him. He requested that I put him to bed and stay with him the whole night. I carefully get up to avoid waking him and head up to Isabelle in the living room to talk to her.

"Hmm Isabelle, thank you for raising Aidan well. I've never seen such a smart, sweet and caring child like him. I am really happy that he doesn't hate me despite being away from him". I said and sat beside her.

"I don't want him to grow up with hatred Daryll and you don't deserve to be hated by him". She said while smiling.

"But I mean it Isabelle, thank you". I said. Isabelle, I'm planning to talk to the agency and tell them about Aidan, if that's okay with you". I said again.

"Huh? what do you mean? are you planning to introduce him to the public?". She asked.

"No Isabelle. I'll leave that decision to you, but the reason why I want to tell them is so they could be lenient with my schedule. I will request that they give me more free days, so I could spend more time with you and Aidan I would also ask to take a break from work for at least a month". I said.

"I see... pero pano kung hindi sila pumayag? Ibig kong sabihin, you are the peak of your career and it could be a lot of damage if you will be out of the limelight for awhile". She said.

"I'll ask them to terminate the contract then. Handa kong iwan ang lahat Isabelle, makasama ko lng kayo ni Aidan". I said to her sincerely.

"Sigurado ka? Pinagisipan mo ba yang mabuti? you worked hard to get where you are Daryll". She said.

"I'm sure Isabelle, you and Aidan are my priorities. I don't wannna make the same mistake before. I've been there and I can't afford it again". I said.

"I really appreciate that Daryll. I hope everything will turn out well then". She said.

"So I'll head back to Seoul tomorrow to talk to them, I'll update you right away". I said and smiled at her.

"Okay. I'll be hoping for the best". She said and smiled at me.
