CHAPTER FIFTEEN

DARYLL'S POV

Aidan and Isabelle went in at the airport first to avoid being exposed, while I followed after a few minutes. As expected, I was bombarded with camera flashes from the media. We arrived safely in Paris. However, news about me heading to Paris quickly circulated online which made it difficult for us, because the media are waiting for me at the airport after we've landed. Aidan and Isabelle managed to steer away from the media, so they headed first to the hotel where we will be staying for a week. I just got inside the car when I messaged Isabelle.

"Babe? are you there yet?". My messaged.

["Yes we just got here"]. She replied.

"Alright, I just got inside the car, I'm on my way there too. I'm sorry babe, if our trip always has to be like this". I replied.

["It's fine babe, don't worry about it as long as Aidan is safe from them. I'm okay with it"]. I replied.

"How I wish we get to experience normal trips as a family someday". He replied.

["We'll never know babe, c'mon cheer up now! we're here to enjoy right?"]. She replied.

"Yes, I'll see you later babe". I replied.

I finally arrived at the hotel and was welcomed by Aidan with a warm hug and a kiss from Isabelle.

"You did choose the best room babe. The view is really dreamy. Never in my life have I thought of being in a place like this". Isabelle said while smiling.

"I'm glad that you liked it babe, I just want nothing but the best for you both". I said as I hugged her and kissed her forehead. I expected that we won't be able to go out often so I made sure to get the best hotel with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower so we can still enjoy Paris. Little did Isabelle know, I prepared something special. That would change our lives forever. I was preparing when I received a message from our group chat.

["How is everything going on there bro? Haha is it all set?"]. Troy messaged.

"Yes and I'm so f*ckin nervous right now!". I replied.

["Haha relax bro, you can do it"]. Charles replied.

["But seriously bro were happy for you"]. Troy replied.

["Yes, after everything that happened you still found each other. Take good care of them bro, not everybody was given a chance to have a family like yours"]. Charles replied.

"I definitely will bro! there is no letting go now. I just hope everything will go well later". I replied.

["Haha good luck bro"]. Troy replied. I am thankful that I have them as my friends.

It was our 2nd day in Paris when I told Isabelle that we'll be having dinner.

"Babe, this time just gonna be the two of us. I hired a private Nanny for Aidan, so you don't have to worry". I said while smiling.

"Oh really? hmm? are you up for something
that seems suspicious". She said.

"Haishh? Why can't she just wait until later... My plan can't be  busted!". I said to my mind.

It was 8pm when I accompanied Isabelle into another room inside the hotel. It was more cozy when we entered and Isabelle was surprised when I brought her into the balcony.

"Woahh! Daryll! how did you prepare this? It's so beautiful!". She said happily.

"Hmm? I used my resources". I said as I smirked at her. She was happy and amazed with what she was seeing which made her hug me tightly.

"Thank you for doing this babe! I'll never forget this day". She said and kissed me on my lips.

"Anything for you Isabelle, hmm shall we?". I said and I held her into the dining table. We enjoyed the food and were done eating when I asked her to stand in the middle with him.

"Why? you know I can't dance babe". She said.

"We're not dancing babe haha just trust me, come here". I said. We both stood in the middle when I held both of her hands and looked into her curious looking eyes.

"Isabelle, I know we just got back together recently but if there is something in my life that I am most sure about it was having you for the rest of my life". I said.

"Hmm? what do you mean?". She said nervously.

"I don't wanna waste more time Isabelle because we already lost so much in the past 3 years, so I wanna take this chance to ask you this". I said. "Will you spend the rest of your life with me as my wife?". I said as I pulled the ring out of my pocket and knelt down. "Will you marry me Isabelle?". I said.

"Yes babe! of course I will!". She said while still in shock and in tears. I smiled and took the ring out of the box and placed it on her. I stood up and we shared an intimate kiss and hugged each other with so much love. I was so happy and was teary eyed while hugging her. Finally there's no letting go now.

We continued our date night drinking some wine and cuddling on the couch, when I suddenly paused and stared at Isabelle.

"You must make me the happiest man today Isabelle, I love you so much". I said.

"You deserve all the happiness in the world Daryll". She said and kissed me. I understood her gesture so I continued. The room was filled  with so much love from the both of us as we released our emotions and longing for each other from the past years.

It was 7am when I woke up still undressed beside Isabelle. I stared at Isabelle and suddenly she woke up and smiled at me, she startled when she saw the time because she was worried that Aidan might be already looking for us.

"Daryll! We have to go back to Aidan now". She said as age gets up and sits on the bed.

"Huh?! why? it's still early babe. He might still be asleep, let's have a few hours more together please". I said as I pulled her and cuddled her.

"No babe, he usually wakes up early". She said.

"But his nanny is with him, don't worry". I said as I kissed her passionately and rubbed my hands on her shoulders and her back.

"Yaah! don't tell me you want to do it again?!". She said and she stopped me from kissing her.

"Please babe? I missed making love to you". I said as I kissed her hand then kissed her neck.

Isabelle and I just finished taking a shower and are getting dressed when I received a message from Charles.

["Daryll! Have you checked your social media?"]. His message.

"No, I haven't. Why?". I asked.

["Photos of you with Isabelle and Aidan are going viral!"]. He replied and got nervous.

"What?! no! How could it be?! d*mn it!!". I said to myself.
