a little smut 🚨Third Person Pov:
"Fuck you! I'm done with your shit!" Taylor yelled as she stomped off the kitchen, Travis following closely behind her.
"Taylor for god's sake, stop starting things if you can't handle it!" He yelled back and she stopped in her tracks, turning to face him the most hatred face she could muster.
"Start things?? That's what you think I'm doing! I'm only trying to fucking work while you're over here complaining that I do it too much! But you don't see me complain about you going to practice everyday, do you?!" She yelled, startling him a bit.
This had been going on for the last few weeks. They had been fighting over the stupidest things, recently it being about how Taylor works too much and doesn't leave time for herself and her family.
"That's different." He said clenching his jaw, but in reality it wasn't. It was the same thing, they were both working all the time. Which has been the cause of so many outbreaks in between them.
"How is that different?? Nothing is different when you train for extra hours more than you're supposed to!" She shouted, clearly making her point. He sighed and rubbed at his temples, knowing that this wasn't an argument he was winning.
"Okay believe what you want. I'm leaving in five with or without you" He said, walking out the door to what she assumed was the car. They were supposed to go on a lunch date with Patrick, Brittany, and their kids.
Taylor sighed and rolled her eyes, walking over to her three year olds bedroom.
The little girl was sitting on her bed, tears in her eyes as her lips trembled. She might only be three, but Arlet was a very smart child and oftentimes knew more than she should at her age. Which isn't surprising since she started walking at only 9 months old and now is a full chatterbox.
"Oh baby don't cry. Why are you sad?" Taylor soothed, taking the little girl in her arms. Arlet began to cry once she was in her mothers arms.
"I no want daddy and mommy to fight" The little girl said. Taylor's heart broke and she only clutched Arlet closer. She never wanted her daughter to feel this way or even get a glimpse of what goes on with her and Travis behind closed doors.
"We weren't fighting, baby. We had a little disagreement, that's all. Mommy and daddy love eachother a lot and we also love you so much." She told Arlet, as the toddler sniffed. Despite her age, she knew lots of things and one was that she never wanted her parents to hate eachother.
Once Arlet had calmed down, Taylor walked out of her room and walked downstairs to grab a couple things for her daughter. Once that was taken care of she walked out of the house and to their car.
Travis was sitting in the driver's seat with his hands on the steering wheel and his head resting on them. Taylor tucked Arlet on her car seat and walked to get in the passenger side.
Travis started the car and made his way out of the driveway.
The air was thick, full of tension, as they made their way over to the Mahomes's place. Neither of them said a word to each other, their fight fully fresh and untouched.
Travis wanted to apologize but his pride was taking over him. Taylor didn't feel the need to apologize, considering she didn't find anything wrong with how she was working.
"Daddy?" Arlet softly called out. "Yes princess?" Travis asked, leaving all his anger behind. When it came to their daughter, they left all their problems behind and focused on only her.
